NVC Number....

We were approved on June 25th and as of this a.m. NVC says (the recorded message, that is) that they have not received our file yet from USCIS... funny enough? Got an email from the NVC

saying that they'd received this petition and are in the process of entering the information into the system and assigning an NVC number to it.

Some timelines say it took a day for the NVC number and some say 3 weeks...

Just wondering if this is normal and if I just hold on to my raring to go horses?

NOA #2: Approval June 25th, 2009 - 92 days

NVC

July 8, 2009 to August 10, 2009 - 28 days

Interview Assigned - December 3, 2009 - FINALLY!!

Medical - December 14, 2009 - Passed

Embassy/Interview - January 26, 2010 Montreal, Quebec Canada - 167 days PASSED!!!

Port of Entry - February 26, 2010 Baltimore International, Maryland

USCIS -- ROC package sent off

November 26, 2011 to Vermont station November 30, 2011 received NOA1December 16, 2011 received biometrics appointment.

January 04, 2012 Biometrics

September 2, 2012, RFE Received.

September 22, 2012 RFE responded to

October 15, 2012 ROC approved, 10 Green card on its way.

I've seen it take up to 9 weeks while others have said that it can take up to 12.

08/08/07 - Case Complete

09/27/07 - Interview, visa granted

10/02/07 - POE

11/16/07 - Received green card and Welcome to America letter in the mail

Removing Conditions

07/06/09 - I-751 sent to CSC

08/14/09 - Biometrics

09/27/09 - Approved

10/01/09 - Received 10 year green card

U.S. Citizenship

03/30/11 - N-400 sent via Priority Mail w/ delivery confirmation

05/12/11 - Biometrics

07/20/11 - Interview - passed

07/20/11 - Oath ceremony - same day as interview

Back in February our petition was approved by USCIS on a Tuesday and received with case number assigned by NVC the following Monday. Good luck :thumbs:
