I am really worried now. Sarah got her visa but we have heard nothing. DOS said check was done on June 29th, 8 weeks waiting!!! Our last name is an uncommon name. Here we are July 6th with no phone call no e mail. This is crazy. I just wish I knew one way or the other what the heck is going on.

:crying:

I know that after the DOS checks are done, they have to ship everything back to the embassy. After our checks were done, it took another 3 weeks (i think) before they got around to issuing the visa.

It will come soon inshaAllah (F)

Chi, I can really understand your worry, but getting into the comparing mindset is going to make you crazy. Each case is utterly unique and moves in it's own time frame. It doesn't mean that anything is necessarily wrong. Deep breath, it'll come, and we're all here with you.

Please don't compare our cases they are so different! I don't want you to feel bad that we got our Visa. We have been very lucky and had no problems, this is not the case for everyone. Don't let it get to you! Good luck.

Barbara you do yourself no favors by comparing totally different cases. You have to stop that and wait for your results and do everything they require or anything that could help your own case. Forget about other K1 or K3 visas going through Morocco your case is going through the second time and it only makes sense they will do more procedures. Plus if you are successful your husband will walk out of there with a 10 year greencard so they have to handle your case more seriously than a K1 or K3 non immigrant visa that has to adjust status. Acting this way only proves you can't be happy with someone elses success for getting a K1 visa when their case is nothing like your case and you shouldn't compare. You need to grow up and start seeing how this process really works and stop wishing ill on others. You should be happy for others success, only spoiled children get upset when someone else gets it and they didn't or are still waiting.

Do yourself a favor, realize you can't compare cases and you need to be a positive person and serve God. The comments you made, show you do not have God in mind and he's the one that will give you your husband.

Stay focused, positive and work to stay in the right course and God will walk hand and hand with you and your husband and let you be together.

Oh Sarah I by no means feel bad because you received your visa and we didn't. I am so HAPPY for you!!!!

I am not trying to compare either. The CO said as soon as the checks came back she would issue the visa. So since it has been a week already I am beginning to wonder if there is a problem.

I called DOS and they refuse to tell me the results of the checks. Said the consulate will call my husband. Why can't they tell me?

We had no phoen call today either. No response to my e mail inquiry that they always say to do.

Please Sarah, I wish you the best my dear! I am so very happy for each an every couple who makes it through Morocco!!!

Thanks for the boost and pep talk Paula.

I am by no means upset that others received a visa

and we did not. I am not like that al all!

I never wished any ill on Sarah or anyone else. I am so very happy for everyone who gets the one they love home! I share in their joy. I hope I don't come across as a spoiled jealous person! I am far from that. I rejoice when others rejoice and I empathazine when others are sad. That is who I am.

Gosh, I am thinking I should have kept silent.

Truely I am so happy for each and every person who gets the love of their life home. I am sorry some think I am the opposite. I am so harmless and full of a giving heart.

Chi, I am sorry you are feeling down. (F) I hope you hear something soon. We are here for you, girl.

Meriem (F)

Thank you so much Meriem.

I have a niece named Meriem. Her father lives in France and she is waiting with her mother to join him. They have been waiting well over a year for a visa to France. My husband said it takes a long time.

I am just sitting here typing and backspacing like crazy...

Chi, HUGS.

You are so good to me!

I appreciate you so much!!!!

BIG HUGSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

Wishing you a speedy visa issuance (F)

Thank you Icey!!! I wish the same for you!!! I am sure it will go as smooth for you as it did for Meriem!

Chi,

If it is any reassurance, I know a couple of people who had to wait for the consulate to get around to calling after their checks were done (one took like a month). Sometimes they seem to call right away, and sometimes they sit on it. No rhyme or reason like everything else with this consulate.

I hope the call comes very soon!

Paula,

I try to avoid jumping into the arguments here, your remarks to Chi are totally out of line. I don't think there is anyone else who would possibly read into her original message what you have read into it. This is a pattern with you, all under the pretense of advise and supposed concern. You even go so far as to post her name when she obviously chooses to use her member ID.

The comment about God not being in her mind  out of line

I think God and Chi know what is in her mind (yours and mine too).

I will now bite my tongue and got back to my usual silence on this forum.

I pray you get good news soon, but keep telling yourself God will make it happen it just might not be as fast as we like. Keep having faith in God and let him bring your husband to you.

God Bless,

I am sure this is hard, and it is natural to be concerned when you see others getting approved ahead of yours. Don't worry, most of us know that you aren't jealous, but rather we feel the need to find some sort of timeline we can follow to see when our cases will be completed. My prayers are with you.
