About to file I-130. Where or when do I let them know I am filing for K3?

Dear friends,

I have been reading the forums and the guides and for the life of me can't figure out where I should let the government know I am after a K3 visa for my wife. I am about to mail in my completed I-130 packet but want to know if my intention needs to be mentioned somewhere.

Perhaps they will ask me later down the road? Thank you!

07-13-09 NOA1 received.

09-17-09 I-130 Approved!

09-23-09 NOA2 Hardcopy received.

10-02-09 NVC mails out DS-3032 and AOS Bill.

10-07-09 AOS Bill received, payment made. DS-3032 emailed to NVC.

10-09-09 AOS Bill paid. I-864EZ mailed to NVC.

10-15-09 AOS I-864EZ accepted by NVC.

10-27-09 IV Bill PAID

10-30-09 Received Instructions Packet

10-30-09 Horror will need police clearances from Korea and Taiwan sets in. Head in the

sand period begins... shutting down... snoooooozzzzzzeeeeee..

01-07-10 Police clearances obtained... power on... rebooting... blink, BLINK! YawNN!!

01-14-10 DS230 Package sent to NVC via LBC

01-20-10 NVC Accepts DS230

01-28-10 Case Complete!

02-09-10 Received Appointment Letter! Appointment March 15th!

02-25-10 Medical Exam passed!

03-15-10 Embassy Interview, Passed!

03-18-10 Visa in hand! Need CFO sticker though... bummer.

03-19-10 CFO sticker acquired

03-24-10 Homeward bound flight, JFK POE!

When you get the I-797 also called NOA#1 from submitting the I-130. About 2 weeks after mailing the I-130.

You submit the I-129F with the NOA#1... Follow the K3 instructions for the I-129f.

I'll be right behind ya this weekend, Thx! Got NOA1 for my I130 today, so will be getting together the I129F this weekend and mailing on Monday.

Have to ask - why would you even want to consider K-3 when I-130 approvals are out at the same time or even before the I-129f? Eager to give USCIS $1010 instead of keeping it for yourself and eager to have AOS wait time and interview again?

Seriously people, consider going the CR-1 route - same time line, immediate green card and can work right away.
