Case with adjudicator

So my case has hit the five month mark and I called in today ready to make a request for expedite on my case and was told that my case is with an officer and I should hear something within 30days ( I called the RFE line). Is this a ploy to keep me at bay for another month, or am I close to getting approved? How long after being told your case was with an adjudicator did your case get approved anyone.

Keeping my fingers and toes crossed and hoping for some reassuring messages from you all.

When I was told the same thing, I got a answer 2 weeks later, not the answer I wanted, it was a RFE. Oh well. If not for RFE it would of been a approval.

But it 2 weeks before looking for that approval.Im sure it will come soon. Best wishes!!
