I am interested to know which airports are the easiest for a new K-1 arrival. I was planning on bringing my fiance in thru Las Vegas but was told it is a hard airport for new arrivals. Has anyone experienced this? I can have her come thru Seattle or Las Angels if needed. I am just trying to make her arrival as easy as possible for her. Thanks for your time and consideration.

The easiest one is the one closest/most-convenient to you - there are no real 'hard' or 'easy' POEs - just airports that are busier than others. IMO LAX would be the busiest of the two you mentioned. But six in one, half a dozen in the other.

I came into JFK about a year ago. And the only thing they ask was: "Business or Pleasure?" Then make a picture or something, fingerprint and done. I could get my suitcase and was outside. They did ask me questions at the airport in Holland though.

Love is patient and kind;

it is not jealous or conceited or proud;

love is not ill-mannered or selfish or irritable;

love does not keep a record of wrongs;

love is not happy with evil, but is happy with the truth.

Love never gives up; and its faith, hope, and patience never fail.

Love is eternal.

San Francisco is the best of the main airports that service trans-Pacific flights. My family and I pay more to fly to/from New Zealand via SFO instead of LAX.

Seattle and Portland are both friendly and nice, but both have a very limited amount of trans-Pacific flights (I think you can go to/from Tokyo), not enough to really be viable. I don't think you can come directly into Las Vegas from across the Pacific (but I could be wrong). If you will fly via Japan and can go to PDX or SEA, I recommend them more than anywhere else, but as I said, there are a limited amount of flights from Asia into these two airports.

However, if you have a valid K-1, POE is not a big deal. What is a bigger deal, IMO, with regards to which airport, is which ones is better to spend time in and around. Most of the time transiting to/from the Pacific, I end up with lots of time to kill between domestic and trans-Pacific flights. I enjoy going into San Francisco MUCH more than going into LA. Public transport and people are much nicer in SF. SFO Airport is much nicer than LAX too.
