After some initial delays/RFE's, the applications for the childrens' Green Cards have been transferred to CSC as of the end of June 2009.

They were beneficiaries of the Follow to Join process after their mother had entered and we married. She now has her Green Card.

My questions, am I correct in assuming that transfer to CSC is a good thing and how long before CSC approves the applications and sends the green cards if CSC received the transferred applications end of June 2009?

CSC only shows adjustment of status for employment applications on their website. (and that date is December 2008)

Hey J,

I hope all is well.

It could be anywhere from 3-6 months, but usually about 2-3 months. That's the way it happened for us. Took 4 months for my wife. It was under 3 for the kids with an RFE when the USCIS idiots lost the medicals.

thank you for the time line estimate.

and, assuming no more RFE's and everything is in order, a transfer to CSC is still considered to be a positive development with an approval likely to happen?

no problem. absolutely
