Hi guys,

Just wondering if anyone has been through something similar to this. I will fly to the states one day before my GC expires. I filed for the removal of conditions, but I dont have the extension letter yet. Do you guys have any advice or information to share? I am bringing a copy of the removal of condtions application.

Yes. I dont believe you should have any issues.

Removing Conditions:

03/09/2009 - sent package to Vermont Service Center

03/17/2009 - NOA 1

04/14/2009 - Biometrics Done

08/10/2009 - Approved

08/13/2009 - Approval letter received (Online status still Pending)

08/14/2009 - Card Production Ordered-Email

Since you filed your I-751 already, you should receive the NOA1 in time for your travel. Take it with you.

Theoretically, you are fine until the GC expires. In case you don't get your NOA1 in time, make sure you don't miss your flight, get sick uproad, or being kidnapped by some bad guys. I would get nervous if it's hours before my GC expires when entering the US again . . .

There is no room in this country for hyphenated Americanism. When I refer to hyphenated Americans, I do not refer to naturalized Americans. Some of the very best Americans I have ever known were naturalized Americans, Americans born abroad. But a hyphenated American is not an American at all . . . . I hope there are no delays. We got stuck in London for 2 days when he was first coming here.... I hope the scanned and emailed NOA1 will help. Or maybe there is something in the system letting them know you filed? Not sure. I wish you the best, though.

Biometrics Appointment Letter received 17 June 2010

Biometrics scheduled for 08 July 2010; walk-in successfully done in Philadelphia 07 July 2010

02 Oct 2010 - FINALLY got email saying the case was being transferred to the local office. Hoping to get his interview letter soon...

05 Oct 2010 - received interview letter!!!!

08 November 2010 - scheduled for N-400 interview

- went together for interview; file isn't there - need to wait to be rescheduled

Jan 2011 - went for Infopass

25 Feb 2011 - interview

19 April 2011 - Infopass

8 July 2011 - HE'S FINALLY A CITIZEN - WOO HOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but can you not get an InfoPass appointment, explain the situation, and have them stamp your passport?

I am outside the states now. Where can I have my passport stamped?!!!
