USCIS Processing Times Website

It looked like to me when I first started looking at the USCIS website that they would update the estimated processing dates every 2 weeks almost religiously. Now it seems to be hit and miss at best. Last update June 20, so I was thinking 2 weeks would be the 4th of July so understandably no update then. So I figured well they will update it today as of yesterdays date. Nothing. Anybody know any rhyme or reason to this?

Doesnt seem to be any standard update time. Been watching it since early January 2006 and at times is updated every two weeks and other times it goes for over a month with no update.

There is not a set time as to when they will update - I used to do the same as you and was sadly disappointed when they didn't do it every 2 weeks. Besides, wouldn't you rather have them looking at your case rather than worrying about updating a website?

With out a doubt. Would be just as happy if they never updated, if it meant they could process one more application by not doing it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It really does suck that they don't update the processing times regularly. I don't undestand why they always direct people to the processing times chart, which seems to alwaye be two weeks since updated if now more .

Why would someone seeking information on a time frame want to look at the same chart for weeks or even a month.

I've found from looking at my case and others that the times, even if updated, are not all that accurate. Many people are approved well before the dates listed on websites. I think the timeline tools on VJ are a much better tool.

Those dates aren't always very useful. That is the date of the oldest case they are working on. If there is even 1 old case that is active the date on the webpage won't move up until that old case is cleared. They could be completing applications from July, but have 1 incomplete from January and the date would show January.

Not sure that is totally accurate either. CSC shows 15 February 2006 and I know that there are at least two people who date from January and the first half of February that still have not gotten their NOA2s
