Hi everyone! Long time no see!

Hope everyone had a great 4th! Hubby and I both had to work at night (separate jobs). He didn't see ANY fireworks :( I saw some with my co-workers just outside the building (at the fairgrounds).

Now, I have a couple weeks of nights off.. yay.. So what do I do with all this free time?! Nap! YAY! :alien: <--- I look and feel like that.

Funny thing -- I was so happy that there isn't work tonight after my day job -- I seem to have bad luck at getting nails puncturing my tires! Yup, it happened today -- so I just calmly pulled over to the nearest Discount Tires and got a free patchup/tire fix job. SCORE! (didn't like the waiting through :P )

Nagi -- (F) I'm so sorry for your loss. (I do know there's cremation service -- if you're not sure still)

Olivia -- Have FUN doing what you want! The beach sounds nice.

Annie -- a 3rd puppy?! Quite the zoo indeed! :P Enjoy!

Everyone, have a great Monday evening! All the best ~~~~

Preparing myself for an awkward conversation that I'm going to have to have tomorrow... My nearly-six-year-old daughter spent the night at my dad and his new wife's house last weekend. They have three boys, one that's 8, one that's five, and one that's two. She told me today that the boys made her do "some kissing stuff" and she didn't like it and didn't want to do it. I know that these boys have had a history of doing more graphic things to each other (namely the oldest boy) so I guess I'm going to have to have my daughter stop going over there to spend time. They don't really supervise their kids very well during the summer (kind of just send them outside to play by themselves), so it makes me nervous. I guess in the end I have to trust my gut, I just am not looking forward to having this conversation.

I have already had a conversation with Adam this week about wearing a sleeveless tv shirt outside. I hardly ever wear sleeveless shirts unless im working out or outside in the sun doing something.... which I havent done those things in a LONG time. I told him I was going outside the other day to wash my car since it was 95 degrees and very sunny. I put on a dark blue sleeveless tshirt and knee length shorts and headed out and he nearly freaked out bcz sleeveless isnt modest enough according to him... I told him so fast that he had 2 choices about it, either go outside and help me wash my car while I get some sunshine or sit inside and play on the computer while I go outside and get sunshine but I was modest and Im going outside... - he came outside and helped me wash my car while I had on my sleeveless t shirt. I understand that he came from a country where 90% of the women are fully covered, but I'll be raising a blasted fit if he dont leave me alone about how I dress. He knows how I dressed when I married him, same as Ive always dressed and same how i will continue to dress... I dress modest enough... Ive told him that if I dressed immodest God would tell me about it, so I dont need Adam to tell me about it.
