Hi Everyone,

My case was completed by grace of God and I have gotten a interview date fro my wife as well. I mailed in all the original documents to the NVC along with the DS-230 packet, and with the interview date appointment letter, it says all the documents that I mailed were accepted and my wife just needs to bring the Police Certificate to the interview. Even though I mailed in the original Police Certificate, based on other people's experiences on this forum I will just have my wife take a new police certificate to the interview regardless. So below are the things I will have my wife take to the interview, if someone can tell me if there is anything else I need to have her take I would certainly appreciate it.

1. Copy of Birth Certificate

2. Copy of Marriage Certificate (Nikahnama- URDU & ENGLISH version)

3. Original Police Certificate

4. Her original Passport

5. Pictures of our wedding and other photos

6. Interview appointment letter

7. 2 passport size photos

8. Copy of Biographic Data Page on Passport

Also if someone can tell me what are the usual questions that they usually ask. I would certainly appreciate it. Good Luck to everyone for their cases.

now if someone can help us... my husband is from texas , he is going to start the documents for my visa. im in colombia now.. well he is with me still..

but when he gets his city , he will start all ..

i would like that someone help us with the papers that i need to give him now.. for he take them there.

When is her interview???

My husband's interview is on July 16th at 8:00 and I have opened a thread in the embassy forum and posted a list of documents that we will be taking for his interview.. probably you can contribute there too. How did you obtain another new PCC?

You might want to take a few pictures...any kind of proof that comes to your mind.

Emails...chat logs...phone cards. Greeting cards...

reciepts...

anything to prove your relationship.

Congratulations for you.....

We are waiting for the next step from NVC, after we submitted the last document on June 23'09. Hope the interview could be held before the school start on September 8.
