wear loose jeans. sweatpants are even better. i recommend wearing slippers (then just bring socks for the cold) or loose shoes because you'll be taking off shoes a lot when you go thru airport inspection especially when you have multiple plane rides. definitely bring a jacket too. :)

also know the weather of the place you're going to so you'll be more ready.

ROC mailed to USCIS -- June 10, 2011

ROC approved -- November 1, 2011

im confused!!!! lol

i want to know do we need to wear formal attire going to us?

coz some one told me that their will be port of entry!!!

how true is that? im confused what to wear!! plz help me about this hehhehe..

someone is yanking your chain.

things i've learned traveling:

wear dark jeans - dark clothes can hide any stains should you get anything dropped on you.

take a light jacket - it may be raining or cold at the other end, plus you can use it to keep warm if necessary.

wear tennis shoes or something that's very comfortable- it's gonna be a long flight, wearing shoes that hurt after a few hours isn't a good idea.

have an extra pair of socks - in case your feet get wet, you will need them. and yes, i have had to use them in the past.

i also travel with my own pillow, sunglasses, and a hat. i sleep most of the time on a plane using those 3 items.

good tips

i brought travel neck pillow too and i slept like a baby on plane lol! I recommend buying it caz it is very comfortable  . I bought mine in SM Department store and it is very cheap. It only cost me Php100 ($2) and when i check out the price of those pillow in the US airport, they cost ($10 - $20) so better buy it there while you are still in Pinas :) o yeah this is what it look like.

Everything that happened during our first entry in the US are all stored in the core of our brains huh? way back 1999 can still remember my exact attire when i got on the plane and my first step to LAX.

i was wearing jeans departing Manila and when the plane settled down, right before they served the meal.... i changed attire to my great and comfortable PAJAMAS AND comfortable LONGSLEEVES. 2 hrs before landing, had to changed back to jeans and shirts for my

POE... that was so much comfortable so i could curled up and can move a little bit in the very small space.

everytime i go home i always do that.... made the looong trip a litte bit better.

I know its still a long way before I travel to the US, but I would suggest to just wear anything you feel you'll be fine for long hours of trip. As for me, wherever I travel, I never forget to bring extra undies.

The travel is very long, and its quite uncomfy for us girls to have "it" there for longer that 8 hours.

I'll also add up in my suggestion to bring necessary meds for usual bad feeling (e.g, headache, drowsiness etc.)

Have a safe trip to the US of A.

i second this (ie re extra undies) ... on my past 2 trips (USA to the Philippines), i ended up sleeping in Japan because i missed (not my fault) my connection to manila. hence, extra top/shirt and undies stashed in your carry-on is always good.

Yes, above all be comfortable. It's such a long flight so if you can be really sleepy before hand that will help. It's pretty cool on the plane so cover up and sleep as much as you can :) I wore jeans, short sleeved shirt and comfortable slip on shoes with socks. Your feet will get cold!!
