Timeline

She went to look through papers and I94 was not there how can they either contact someone ot get it back because in spanish on back it seems there is n replacemnet, also is it not possible to travel six months after being in states or six months after marriage....thanks

The I-94 should have been stapled to the passport. Is it is missing, you would have to pay for a replacement. A fee is involved.

K-1 Visa is a one use Visa. She need to apply for Advance Parole with the EAD/AOS after you are married, if she wants to be able to return to the US before she gets her Green Card.

we are married now i was under the assumption that it was 6 months after she landed here. So I have to apply for advance parol first

6 mos after she landed for what?

He seems to be worried she can't travel yet. I am assuming outside the US.

you have to file for adjustment of status... advance parole can be applied for at the same time or the after adjustment application

1. I94 should be in the passport

2. She cannot leave the US until she has advance parole. This is received after she applies for it along with her AOS paperwork. Usually takes around 3 months, but check current times.

Timeline

AOS

Mailed AOS, EAD and AP Sept 11 '07

Recieved NOA1's for all Sept 23 or 24 '07

Bio appt. Oct. 24 '07

EAD/AP approved Nov 26 '07

Got the AP Dec. 3 '07

AOS interview Feb 7th (5 days after the 1 year anniversary of our K1 NOA1!

Stuck in FBI name checks...

Got the GC July '08

Timeline

When I came to the US, no one stapled I-94 into my passport, so I thought it was just a trash and threw it away. When I found it it was valuable, I also realized you have to replace it which costed me $320.

The replacement form is at uscis.gov- fill it out, add a check and send it.

2-year green card application:

07/29/2009- Mailed I-130, I-485, I-693, I-864, I-864A, G-325A, I-765 via USPS.

08/02/2009- Package delivered to Chicago.

08/06/2009- Checks cashed.

08/10/2009- Received NOA's for I-485, I-130, I-765 (issued August 6th).

08/19/2009- Recieved Biometrics Appointment notice (bio apt 9/12 at 9am).

08/21/2009- Recieved RFE for I-485 (issued August 17th).

08/22/2009- Responded to RFE.

09/01/2009- Case processing resumed (RFE recieved on 8/27/2009).

09/01/2009- Walk-in biometrics at 1:00pm, in and out in 15mins.

09/09/2009- Recieved e-mail: EAD card production ordered on 09/08/2009.

09/14/2009- Recieved another e-mail: EAD card production ordered (AGAIN!) on 09/11/2009.

09/16/2009- EAD recieved in the mail.

09/21/2009- Applied for a SSN.

09/30/2009- Recieved SSC.

10/14/2009- Received interview notice (Interview on 11/16 at 9:35am)

11/16/2009- Interview,APPROVED and CARD production ordered e-mail!Yay!

11/19/2009- Welcome Notice Recieved and Card production ordered e-mail again!

11/27/2009- Received green card in the mail!

Removal of Conditions:

09/09/2011- Sent the package via Priority mail, with delivery confirmation.

09/12/2011- Package delivered.

09/13/2011- Check cashed.

09/14/2011- NOA issued and received on 09/17/2011.

09/15/2011- Biometrics appointment issued for 10/05

11/21/2011- Card production ordered.

August 03, 2010 - AOS @10:45 am - "conditional" approval pending corrected medical form by Civil Surgeon

Sept 8, 2010 - AOS Approved for 10 year Greencard!!!
