MEDICAL APPOINTMENT INFORMATION - MELBOURNE So, on Friday I had my medical appointment. As I said in a post above, I called the doctors on Wednesday the 15th July 2009 to try and book an appointment

My P3 is in the mail and on it's way to the consulate...woohoo!! Now I can sit back, relax (well try to) and wait for my interview. :dance:

You will most likely be assigned the tuesday after me then....a shame, would have been nice to have met up at the consulate and cheer each other on!

Note on SS#

I thought to see what would happen with applying a week after i arrived, as we were at the office updating Cindy's and guess what, i recieved my SS card yesterday, so my details were in there 1 week after POE, so don't wait 2 weeks to apply

We just got back from our honeymoon too :) spent 5 days in Kissimmee FL, Cindy and i had a great time :D

Hey everyone! Just to update, Me and Damo sent out packet 3 on wednesday and got the email on friday that included out packet 4! Our interview date is set for December 22! Sucks i wont be there, but atleast I'm having a wonderful visit with Damo here in Melb, and the weather has been absolutely beautiful! Its snowing back home in Seattle hehe. i fly out on saturday, Boo! So i just wanted to drop a line, and say hiya!

Yeah it's a bummer. It would have been cool to meet up at the consulate.

Snowing in Seattle? Was up there this weekend and there was no snow.. glad I missed it because it makes driving a mess :lol:

Saw my GP today, getting a blood test for MMR & Hep B also checking for diabetes & my cholesterol (family history) while I'm there. We've also done a general query on immunity so that should show up that I've had all my immunisations :)

Nice way to find a work around!

Saw my GP today, getting a blood test for MMR & Hep B also checking for diabetes & my cholesterol (family history) while I'm there. We've also done a general query on immunity so that should show up that I've had all my immunisations :)

Do they charge in NSW? I received a bill for $177 from Qld Pathology. Would have been nice for my GP to let me know this before hand!

I don't think they do, I'll find out soon enough, can't remember getting a bill on my last blood test.

I didn't have to pay for mine at QML Pathology. It was all bulk billed.

I didn't have to pay for mine at QML Pathology. It was all bulk billed.

Ba$tard$ ... I just might try to pay it with my Medicare card then ... :whistle:
