Nice to hear all the good news.

Can any one tell me about how long after the embassy gets the package 3 that they make the time for the interview?

Maybe I jumped the gun some I made plane reservations for Dec.8th. They got the package on Nov 11.

My nerves are about shot.

Hmmm...

Avg. Days between Consulate Receiving Information from NVC and Actual Interview for Argentina is 58 days.

Have you looked at the similar timelines to yours?

Well it seems Argentina has similar delays as France (55 days for France)

I think you need to be very lucky at this point....

You could also try to ask in the regional section in this forum.

Good luck.

Thanks for that,

Well, they received from NVC on Oct 6. so they have had it for 42 days now.

I was wondering how long it takes them after we have sent them all the things on the list.

Thanks

No Update...

The date is over and no email from Montreal... I am really thinking so hard to have him go to Iraq and do the interview, but then I worry so much for his safety.

Baghdad responded today after I requested our address to be updated to his Toronto home. That was quick.

Com' on Montreal, I am about to have heart attack from this stress...

Good luck folks who are going to interviews..

I just got back from Spain. He just received his info from the Embassy (finally). We filled out the "DS-230" that they attached with his instructions. Air quotes because it is completely different than the one here on VJ. It is only 2 pages and does not ask many questions (and it's entirely in Spanish). It tells him to fill this form out entirely and send it in. So we did. Only now I'm looking at the DS-230 that is online here on VJ. It is 4 pages, he only received 2 pages. Did they forget to include the last 2 pages? Or will that be later? The whole thing was very confusing. The instructions said that he needed to go to a webpage for further instructions, only the website they list is invalid. So that is fabulous. I think I figured out what page they meant to reference from Google. They had added the word 'state' in the middle of the web address, making it invalid. Typing exactly what they referenced, without the word state, does point to fiance visa instructions. So, anyhow, I'm not feeling so confident in what they are sending him. It says also that forms DS-156K, 157, and 156 (with the barcode) need to be completed. It does not instruct when, where or how. So is he to wait until they send him these forms with a barcode on them? There aren't many filers from Spain on here, just wondering though if any of you are having such bad luck with instructions.

Nah, no worry, we only have to fill DS-320 PART I (which is two pages), you'll have to fill the 2 other pages for packet 4.

My packet 3 instructions are super messy too...

http://madrid.usembassy.gov/cons/immigrenfiance.html

Hmmm, it's quite the same there. I know some embassy don't do packet 3 and packet 4, some gather the two...

More info here:

Spain Embassy

It says:

"To answer the question:

DS-230 Biographical Data

Checklist

That is all that must be sent back. Everything else must be taken to the interview."

Nobody shows in your "Similar timelines"? Maybe you could directly ask someone here.

I GOT THE VISA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so happy!!! Now all I have to do is get on a plane and go home!

The interview was so simple and easy! We are together 6 years now and the counsel only asked me three questions: where and how did we meet, do I know his family and what are my plans for when I get to US. After answering the last questions she said "your visa was aproved, congratulations!" Half an hour later I had the passport with the visa in my hand! YAHOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

Feel free to ask me anything. I am so excited I don;t know if I missed any useful information.

Hugs and good luck to all!!!

Rachel.. your dog Honey is wonderful! And Mushroom =), I am so sorry for your loss (F):( !!!

I have one question.. Do we bring on the interview documents that we have copied (when we at first sent to USCIS.. with I-129 F, G325 forms etc...)? Do we need that for interview too, (because here in our K1 guide it writes that we should bring that too on the interview)? So Ileana, what did you bring on your interview :)?

Take care you all,

And once again CONGRATULATIONS TO ILEANA AND PABLO¨
