Hi everyone! B)

Well... Its another week and another month for all still waiting!

Tomorrow it has been a week since we called USCIS and we've still heard nothing. They asked us to call again tomorrow to chase up our case, so we'll see what they say then.

Thanks again to all of you offering your wonderful support. Oh and bring on Christmas!!! Russ bought his flight ticket yesterday! Yaaaaaaaaay! Its keeping us both going having that to look forward to!

Hello,

So just to update...

Finally I saw that case arrived on Nov 1st. I contacted Baghdad embassy and they responded today saying that no they don't have the case and they were telling me that internal information are not to disclose by DHL.. blah blah blah..

So I called NVC and explained to the lady the issue. She told me to call the Visa center in Washington DC and explain my case.

I did make that call, and the lady said that our case is in Baghdad ( case status is open) and that packet-3 is sent to my finace.

I asked which address was it sent and she old me possible the APO address ( military) on his case.

I told her but the embassy said the case is not with them and that my finace is now in Canada.

She told me to write to them back explain to then that I contacted Visa Center and they showing in the system that cause is with Baghdad embassy.

She also told me to request they update his address to the canada address.

I just responded back to Baghdad and going to send to Montreal to request they move the case..

I just fed up with this issue.. he shold have listened to me when I said to use Canada from start.

I hope all folks waiting for NOA2 to recieved it this week...

Hello ! :)

Breath! I'm sure everything will be fine at the end.

I must confess that I've been thinking the same thing when you mentionned he was coming back.

I guess Montreal interview delays scared you...

Woman, you always should listen to your intuition!!! ;)

I come to check like 3 or 4 times per day to see if Musho or Rachel got their NOA2... :(

I shouldn't get my packet 3 before mid november, and I doubt my interview will be before 2009 ends.

I almost miss checking on USCIS site!

Victoria, we didn't pick a wedding yet, we won't do any real wedding but I'm thinking really hard about stealing your 1st of May.

It is Labor Day in France, it's a good day, it's always sunny on a first of May. :)

I can't wait for this winter to be over and this unique and magic Spring to come!

Heyo my dear friends!

Good luck to you Batta.. Everything will be ok soon!

Thanks for the lilies Eastern De, and thanks to all of you for your suport! We really need it!

We are stuck here in waiting, and I am trying to find logical explination why is this like this?

But patience is everything.. I am just telling myself that November is our month yayayaya!

Ohhh.. and I forgot.. When I look at the Berkley`s timelines list, it looks like USCIS has slowed with approving NOA2

Hi everyone! And thanks Eastern DE for the lilly of the valley! How sweet!

Well... we need it! Because we called USCIS yesterday, as directed, and got absolutely nowhere! The 'agent' who answered, knew absolutely nothing - I don't think she even understood what Russ was talking about to be honest - clueless! Anyway, she told us that no-one will even be assigned to our case until Dec 3rd! She even said that sometimes it takes 6 months to get an NOA2!!! We were both quite upset yesterday and it was a particuarly low day but after thinking about it, I have realised that when calling, they definitely do not really know what theyre telling us. I have a strong sneaky suspicion that its their job to solely get us off the phone because of the diverse range of answers Ive been hearing from them.

So the waiting continues. :help: Its really killing us... I'm starting to think, are we even going to make the wedding? :crying::crying:

Ahhh but thanks everyone for your support. It means such a lot to know you all have us in your thoughts! :star:

Oh and Musho, what is the Berkley's timeline? I know what Igor's list is but what is Berkley's???

Hi guys!!! I too check VJ each and every day hoping I see Musho and Russ&Rachel approved! I can feel their dissapointment and desperation. I know I would feel the same. :girlwerewolf2xn:

Hang in there Batta. I am sure everything will be just fine eventually. I keep my fingers crossed for you!

Congrats to those who have chosen their wedding date already! We are discussing January but haven't made a decision just yet. We don't want to jinx it by getting ahead of the game. One step at the time, right? :D

I am still waiting for USPS to bring me the rest of the documents so I can schedule my interview. The waiting kills me. I just want to see the visa on my passport so I can breathe again! ;)

Last week I turned 40. My baby tells me that 40 is the new 20 now. So, adding to that some wisdom and experience I get the perfect recipe for success, right? :secret:

My heart goes with all of you and someday I wish I could meet with you in person. You're making my journey more bearable and fun!

Hugs to all,

Ileana

Good morning all,

Thank you so much for your kind of words.

I have sent my replies to the Baghdad embassy and they answered this morning, asking me if I want the case to be moved... Dahhh!

Why would he go to Baghdad for interview? Or they are simply crazy..

I just sent an email to Montreal asking them to pull the case. I will see how long that will take.

It is cold here in Chicago.. and I can hear my hun sleeping and snoring.

I do want this journey to pass in a flash... He keeps reminding me, no one said this is going to be easy..

I wish Musho and Russ to get their approval soon.. I tell you calling the USCIS and NVC get's you no where... the only real person who gave me real answer was the Visa Center in Washington DC.

Good luck all.. keep you in my prayers.

Batta

This is going to make you laugh.

When I got to bed last night, I had some kind of a flash.

Even though May 1st sounds like a very good date, well hrm... It is not for me, as in personally. :P

My wedding can't happen at the end or beginning of a month. :P

Or no honeymoon for me.

Rachel, if you read Gary's interview with a USCIS supervisor, it says that the agents who answer the phone have 10 kinds of reply, they don't do any work than just answering the phone and repeat the presets answers they have.

Because all in a sudden Vermont had some kind of approval rush, people forget that the official delay is 5 months still.

We, people who already got their NOA2, should consider ourselves super lucky. We tend to forget it very quickly.

Many people on VJ have 130 - 150 days until NOA2 in their timeline logs....

I'm sure you'll get some news before December 3rd though.

Big warm hugs, it's cold here too, and rainy... :s

Hello all!

Where are the NOA2´´s??

I got my packet 3 today and scheduled my medical exam for next week. Man, the medical is pricy. I am still hoping to have the interview at the beginning of Dec ( although the doc said that it takes at least 2 weeks for the x-ray and blood test results). Why do I need all these medicals in the first place ??

My process so far as been very smooth..knock on wood

Its funny, although i don´´t know you guys, I am still rooting for you and hoping that you get your approvals soon.

good luck... btw its freezing here in estonia
