Congrats to Peruvy and Gringa!! You must both be so pleased! And thank you so much for your kind words for the rest of us.

Well.... its the 17th. Is the kicking still taking place?! We're still waiting...

To those who've been approved recently, did you all get touches before you were approved for the NOA2?

Yes, I wanna know that too.. because we dont have any touches yet :(.. (last touch on july 20, and we got our noa1 in july 14) Smrc, I am so sad.. Our VJ timeline has passed, and lot of August and even September filers are getting their noa2..

I dont know what is happening?! Are we so suspicious to them, or boring haha

Hi Musho. Yes us too. Our last and only touch is July 15th (we recieved our NOA2 on the 10th). No-one else has been approved for the 10th and there are quite a few missing for the 8th and 9th aswell. I've been trying to look for patterns of non-approvals on Igors list. I keep looking for an answer... I keep thinking that were just sitting on someones desk, forgotten about.

We must try to keep positive though! If it can just be a simple case of good luck and waking up one day to that suprise email in your inbox, we have just as much chance as everybody else of it happening to us too very soon!

I got an email on 10-02-09 saying that my application has been approved. I checked my status on the USCIS website, and my application was touched on the 02nd. I don't know if it was touched prior to that date.

Good luck to you. I really feel that your approval is coming very soon.

Thank you so much Oldahmed! Your kind words are very supportive. Im so glad we have VJ!

We know how you feel, it isn't fair. I just checked and your NOA1 date is July 15th. Ours is the 10th so maybe yours and ours are sitting together on the same desk? Hope they would hurry up and get on it. I sure hope on top of our file there is not a huge pile of August & September filers...

We're hoping all could be sorted by christmas. Fingers crossed

Our Noa1 was on July 17th. And not even a touch yet.

I've started to put this "on the side", and I'm trying to not think about it anymore.

Or well, less.

We're still very far from our first expectation (late November)

I'm not very motivated to keep organizing the moving and stuffs...

Well bleh.

It's monday here already, hopefully this new week will bring us good news.

Good morning everyone! Let's hear about some NOA2's approved today!!!

My medical went ok, I have the envelope now. All I need is the file to be sent to the embassy. My hubbie called NVC last week and he was told that it may take 4 to 6 weeks!!! But she advised him to call again this week. I guess this is the timeline for the files getting an AP. It doesn't have to be ours though, right? We'll see what happens when he calls again today.

My prayers go for those still waiting for NOA2. Hurry up VSC!

We know how you feel EasternDE. Me and Russ are trying to put it on the back burner too. Maybe we'll have a nice suprise this week, eh? :star:

Hi Kitty, glad to hear your medical went smoothly! Hang in there Im sure you'll go through fast. Can I just ask, did you get any touches before your NOA2?

So we're NOA1 date - July 10th

Musho - July 14th

Kadrin & Robert - July 15th

EasternDE - July 17th

Its official, there ARE all sitting on the same desk doing nothing. Lets hope for a freak gust of wind to blow the Sept filers off the top of ours!

No, we didn't get any touch before our NOA2. I checked in the morning of October 9 (as I did everyday in the last two months and a half) and the last update was July 16 (our file was received on July 13). Then later in the afternoon my hubbie called me (it was early in the morning for him) to let me know that he got an update SMS and since he was taking a shower and didn't want to wait until he could turn the computer on he asked me to check. And there it was - from "In review" it moved right to "Post-decision activity".

Just hang in there, you will get yours soon! I know how it feels. :(

How long does it take to schedule an interview at the embassy in UK? Due to a very low number of files, the embassy here schedules the interview in less than a week.

Good morning all,

I am trying to be positive this week and hope for the following:

- NOA2 to arrive

- Hunny to leave Jordan and come to USA - No more Iraq

I have posted on my facebook asking all family and friends for a prayer ..

So we might want to do something different here, let's not only ask for a prayer, but whoever feel like lighting a candel please do this.

As many of the 20 some people are waiting .. I can only tell you how hard it is.

I looked over the weekend to see how long it takes for NOA2 to be approved after they recieve it. I got discouraged as many people never got answer after their RFE, not sure if they did not update their status or what...

I pary that most of the july folks get their NOA2 and fly to the next step..

Yours

Batta

Our petition was put into AP at NVC a few weeks ago. I called about 4 days later and it had been forwarded to the Consulate that day....so it isn't always a long drawn out process. Fingers crossed that yours moves to the consulate as quick as mine did!!

Thanks Kitty good to know that info! Im really pleased that you have yours. Well... being the poor tormented soul that I am, I printed off a spreadsheet of K1 (Vermont) July filers. There are only 9 applicants on VJ for the UK (and only 3 are still waiting) and for the entire world there have been 54 applications in total and only 18 are still waiting for their NOA2.

Sorry no yay postings from us I'm afraid. But yes, we'll join you in Vermont! Lol. Grrrrrrr
