Good luck to everyone in this tread, hope you have a speedy journey. I was in the July 2008 group can't believe it has been a year since we filed. Believe me going through it was slow and painful but it was all worth it.

It took you 9 months?!!! I believe that was pretty longer than usual, wasn't it?

I was one of the last CSC to get my NOA2 others made it through a lot quicker then I did.

Yes, you shouldn't count the days you are together. They are not part of the visa stress

It looks like it's going to be a long wait for us than I expected. When we started collecting paperwork several months ago, I was really believing that we would have our visa in 6 months or a little less if we were lucky. Now I am not counting on it happening for several months more. I was really hoping I would have him here with me by Christmas. It has only been a month since I last saw him, but it seems like so much longer. I am going to go nuts while I wait. My fiance's internet was down yesterday, and I had worked late the night before, so I am really having separation pains this week!

Goodnight, let's hope the VSC speeds things up for us a bit!

Hi everyone! Count me in! I tried putting my timeline and it stated that it could be possibly adjudicated by December 2 to 23. This is based on the processing times. It's kinda sad. Thinking it will take longer than we expected. I wish we could spend christmas together. But I am still hoping that the processing times will change when the new fiscal year opens by October. (will there actually be an effect?! hehe...)

So let's keep our hopes up! We will be with our soulmates very soon than we know it.

I was actually happy to see December - thought it would be a lot worse - was worried the holidays (Thanksgiving/Christmas) would slow the process down. Think of it like a little extra special Christmas gift. I am fortunate that I will be able to travel to the UK and spend Christmas with Craigy but I feel for any that aren't able to. It has only been a month and a week since I have seen him in person but I miss him terribly. Trying to be the glass half full person... I think of how fortunate we all are to have met our best friends and soulmates. Not everyone is that lucky. Also I think about all the men and women in the military away from their loved ones. So short term missing exchanged for long term love is doable but still difficult. I am just so incredibly happy.

Regardless everyone have a great day. It is great to speak to others going through the same thing and I will pray that the processing times move faster.

Once I started researching how long it would take from I129F application to POE, we pretty much figured on a whole year........so we were/are prepared to wait that long. Or, thinking of it another way, we budgeted our time so that we applied early enough so that Neil can retire July 2010 and then move directly here.
