Oh, that is so sweet!!! Thanks a lot pdcvcm! And I am sure your support will pay off! :)

I have checked USCIS this morning again and still nothing. :bonk: This waiting is killing me!

Seeing all these August filers getting approved gets me all frustrated. On one hand I am happy for them but on the other hand I can't help thinking that it's not fair! :crying:

I feel like an :alien:

sending you guys waiting for your NO2 good vibes and lets hope by the time the day ends you get some approvals. I can really understand your frustration and it really does not make sense that people that filed after you are getting approved. I am grateful that I have received my approval but feel for you guys as well as its just so frutrating this waiting around game..

Ah well, I'm just a frumpy grumpy frenchie.

You can add us too... You were right, it makes us feeling less alone. :)

So you set deadline to USCIS? What if they don't make it, you go to Vermont and kick their ####? :)

This whole thing is making me so grumpy...

Gosh, I wish we had filed 2 months earlier. As I'll still be living in France by January the 1st, I'll have to pay a special local taxes for the whole year 2010... Grrr!

And I'll be spending Christmas without my monkey, but I think we'll go on a nice honeymoon instead! Well, if we get no NOA2 by the end of this month, we'll change our plans and he'll come for Christmas.

Bleh, I can't wait to start out new life together. This winter is going to be rough. And I'm hungry! And cold... Gngngngn...

I-129F NOA1: 2009-07-21

I-129F NOA2: None yet :(

USCIS says our file was last updated: 07/24/2009

VJ says Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between October 14, 2009 and November 10, 2009*.

We're hoping for a response soon! I guess we can't be too impatient because originally we were anticipating a NOA2 in December. But, it's difficult not to become impatient when everyone else, including people with later NOA1's, are getting out of the NVC already!

TAKE HEART JULY FILERS!! We filed July 24 (NOA1) and got notice NOA2 Sept. 28 - 66 days!! (Vermont filing). Was quite surprised, as I didn't expect it for another 45-60 days. Now I have to scramble to complete the next round of paperwork. Dora is taking driving lessons now. It's much easier to get a license in her country than wait until she arrives here, and NC recognizes a foreign driving license and she will not be considered an NC resident, so she can remain driving on her Colombia license. (Just something else to consider in your overall plans).

Good luck to all fellow "Julyers". Kurt

5/20/08 Met through a mutual friend in Medellin

7/02/08 - 10/27/08 Visited 5 times

12/08/08 6th Visit Medellin (gave "Promise" ring to be exclusive)

1/22/09 - 6/21/09 4 more visits. 6/22/09 GOT ENGAGED!

7/25/09 11th Visit Met in Panama

9/19/09 12th Visit Met in Medellin for Dial Del Amor y Amistad

6/23-7/21 Gathered paperwork and applied for I-129F 7/24/09 USCIS acknowledges Receipt of I-129F application NOA1

9/28/09 NOA2 received!!! Only 66 days! 10/02/09 NSC Received and completed Application and sent to Bogota

10/02/09 Embassy received application (my lawyer is two weeks behind informing me - time line information learned on 10/15/09)

10/09/09 Embassy sent out Package 3 10/15/09 Package 3 not received - downloaded forms from website.

10/16/09 Submitted DS-2100 and Ds-230 to apply for interview date. 10/23/09 Received Interview date (had to call DOS)

12/09/09 Interview - VISA GRANTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1/07/10 Arrived in Miami, cleared Immigration with no problems. Arrived in Charlotte to a freaking cold spell 55 degrees colder than Dora has ever experienced.

I don't have a driving license neither, I live in Paris, there's plenty of transportation systems.

But here, getting the license would cost me about 2000$ so I'll wait!

Thanks Kurt, congratulations to you! I dont have a licence either but with all of our other expenses in the coming year, I think that can wait. But, I have heard many times that it is much easier to get a licence in NJ rather than in the UK anyway. But, we will get to sorting that out eventually though... (amongst everything else  )

pdcvcm, maybe you could add the couple of extra people also waiting to your list if they don't mind...? It doesnt seem so bad if we have some more company in the 'slow NOA2 group' lol
