It has been exciting to see all the approved NOA2s from some newer July posters. For those of you that I have gotten to know over this 2 mth period, I am saying little prayers every day that all of you get yours. Even though we haven't met I still feel this connection to you all. I sometimes try to envision myself working at the VSC and going over to this pile of boxes and thinking hmmm which one should I choose. Oh this group of people that filed in July look nice, maybe I should work on this box now. I kind of want to take a field trip out there and see what it is like inside. Really...I do not have a lot of time on my hands with budget time at work but yet I find time to daydream about this kind of stuff. Hmm, I wonder what I did with this time before starting this whole immigration process and not having VJ? I just know it is so close for all. Can't wait for all of us to be with our loved one. Have a great Wed. Hoping and Praying for the NOA2s. :luv:

Congrats. That is wonderful. Not sure if I told you guys that my mom is Polish and my dad is Czech and Slovakian (yep one of my grandparents is from each). But only my Polish grandfather was born there. But all the great grandparents were. My mom was able to speak a little Czech when we visited Prague. How gorgeous it is there but the mountains in Slovakia are as well. So exciting. YAY!!!!!!!!!:dance::dance:

Kitty, I don't want to disappoint you but there's been several August approvals already...

Still nothing here... Bleh

Bah, still nothing here.

It seems that some NOA1's day are cursed, like the 9th, the 17th, the 20th.

I guess they're assigned to the same agent or something...

Or I try to look for an explanation where there's none. :)

Talking about culture, I was actually born on the german border, so I grew up in a mix of german and french culture. I also speak German.

My monkey is born in the US but from Taiwanese parents, he also speaks chinese...

If we have any child (hopefully), they better be good at langages!

But I'm very proud of this nice mixture. :)

I'll start to really freak out when July will get over 60% approval, for now it's only 40% of VJ petitions that's been approved.

Gngngngngn!!!!

Ours was received on July 13 (lucky? unlucky?) and I saw one with the same date approved yesterday! Why not ours too? :crying:

Don't freak out, ok? You need to save your energy for when you get there! There will be a lot of adjusting to do. They will approve them eventually. We just need to be patient. ;)

Cheer up musho! Think about all the joy and happyness you will experience when you will finally get together with your loved one! I know I will! ;)

It is only a matter of time now and I am sure that we will get it too sometime in the next two weeks. You'll see.

If I send you a big hug will it help? :P

Just hang in there. We've been through worse, right?

I know how you feel. Im so happy for the July filers who have been approved  CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU ALL! You all must be over the moon!!! I know we will be!

But... the more people that get approved the more anxious it starts to make the people who haven't been approved yet. I know we are feeling particuarly on edge the past couple of weeks. And as for August filers getting approved, it just doesnt seem fair. It really should be first come, first serve. I am still trying to keep positive though. After all, our initial estimated date was late December. And on the USCIS website it still does say they are anticipating a 5 month wait. So anytime before then is a bonus I guess. But we're really hoping something happens soon for us and also every one else in the same situation. Good luck
