Just got an RFE :(

Hey - Be positive - At least they are working on your file!! Give them whatever they are looking for and I'm sure within a couple weeks you will receive your NOA2!

Happy Thoughts!!!

Only if I will be in town to recieve it, I am going to Jordan tomorrow. My dad will get RFE but what can I do with it, so I cannot sent anything over..

I wish now to cancel my 2 weeks trip to Jordan...

Happy Tuesday

I am so sorry!!! Hopefully it won't take too long to get it done!

Thanks for your answer. So it means nobody touched our file since July! :crying:

Our petition hasn´t been touched yet either. Its still a mistery for me why some August petitions are getting their approvals already and June and July are waiting. But at least my finace is coming to visit me in 2 days which makes the wait a little easier to handle.

Lets be patient and keep on waiting for our NOA2´s.

Yeah, look what happened to Itt. It's probably no biggie.

If you react quickly, it's fixed in 2 weeks.

Ok, I understand, it sucks. :P

Especially if you were expecting your NOA2 in the very next hours.

In 3 weeks, you'll have forgotten this and we'll do the NOA2 happy dance all together!

Oh gosh, waiting really sucks. :)

I am sure it is something stupid.. Because I have read this website for 1 month before sending my package and I had my friend who went through this to screen it as well :)

I just looked over package trying to see what on earth that I missed... suspense is killing me...

Lord.. Give me some wisdom..

Too right - I am as detailed a person as anyone (just ask my workmates and fiancee !!!) and I missed something. My blue RFE form was dated 9/21, mailed on 9/22 and arrived on my doorstep on 9/26, so hopefully you won't have too long to wait before the mail comes. You have about 31 days to respond (10/24 was the deadline on my letter) and they say that it will take a minimum of 14 days to process after receipt. I sent it off on 9/28, so I am hoping there is not too big a delay. We had banked on my fiancee getting here in early Feb 2010, so if this is a temporary blip (as I hope) we should be right on schedule.

When you go to the USCIS web page, you log in (customer, username and password) and it takes you to your petition - you will see the number and the last time it was updated. Good luck!

Waiting sucks indeed!
