It is 3.30 AM in the morning and I have just came back home after hanging out with my friends! And guess what have I found in my email !!!??

We have been approved on Sept 25th!!! I am so exited! I couldn't wait and had to share it with you guys!

I hope everyone else will get theirs NOA2 really soon!!

Have a great day/night folks!

Congrats :dance::dance: Stolat? mom is not here to spell check :) (is it appropriate to use Stolat? in this case)

LOL :) Thank you very much! "Sto lat" we use for birthdays but it is OK! Today I feel like it is my birthday LOL :)

I hope everybody will feel like me really soon. I keep my fingers crossed for you guys!

You probably are already aware, but here is how to check the NVC....

When you get your NOA2 approval... call the NVC (I called after 4 days) using the number 603-334-0700, waited quite a while and then finally selected 5 which says speak to an operator or rep something like that. Gave them the EAC#####... number, they asked for beneficiary's name, dob, my name, dob and then told me the package is getting sent out today. Then they gave me my case number that will be used at the consultate (b/c we go through London it starts with LND). Have a great weekend. :)

Great....i might call NVC when they open up today and see what's happening. We were approved on the 18th...touched again on the Monday 21st...so hoping that was the package being sent to NVC. Nothing in the mail yet, but i'll find out what's happening.... hopefully we're like you and the package is on the way to Sydney!

Good morning everyone!

I was browsing VJ today as I do everyday for that matter :-) and under the unapproved files I found one whose receipt number was posted in the RFE column (by mistake I assume). Out of sheer curiosity I copy-pasted the receipt number into the USCIS to see the status and to my surprise it had been approved since August. Thus, obviously, the member never took the time to update NOA2. Now, I wonder, how many of them are in the same situation, thinking that there are many with NOA1 from 2008.

We are still waiting for our NOA2. It should be any day now since VSC is already approving August.

I can't wait!!!! I get so excited when another one of us gets it!!! :-)

GO CSC AND VSC!!!!

Ohhhh, you`re right! Because, I have also doing some research on VJ, and saw loads of VJ members from last year, or from this year who only have received their NOA1.. But when I checked their profile, I saw that some of them were active last time in.. for example. .they got NOA1 in february, and they were last time active on february etc.. ! They probably got their NOA2, but they didnt update their timeline!

That's right!!! Isn't that just lack of consideration to all of us who count our timelines based on wrong statistics?

However, it seems that they are moving quite fast now although I am completely incapable to understand the criteria based on which some get approved ahead of others. I can;t help myself being happy for them however!

It's monday, and it's cold.

I hope this is going to be a good week for approvals, this last week was actually so-so.

I really pray for an interview before December. I hate the fact I have to give a 3 months notice for my appartment lease.

Those 3 months are going to be horrible... Just waiting for the end of the contract.... Bleh.

I'm becoming a real psycho, especially since I work on the web. It's like I finish one technical sheet, I check mail, another sheet, check mail again, and same cycle every 20mns or so. :P

Plus I started to be paranoid, and thought stuffs like "What did we do wrong, oh maybe I didn't put my proofs neatly enough, oh I knew I should have add this or that...!" :jest:

I can't help thinking how it is like after like 4 months of waiting... You must be going totally nuts.

Ok, back to work now (and email checking :P)

Have a good week all! :)

I called the NVC and they have no record of it.

I haven't called USCIS...the NOA2 approval notice says it 'has been approved and forwarded to the listed consulate'

Then I think you should call them and tell them what NVC told you. I would also look up other cases like yours to see what is the regular timeline.

Well, I promised to myself that I wont go to the USCIS web page until 10th October   ! Because I am going crazy with checking it every hour! So, I told my fiance to check it! I am trying not to think about that a lot!

Also, I am hoping that July fillers will be approved by the end of the October.. every week USCIS approves about 50 NOA2.. so in three weeks 150 NOA2 will be approved (I hope so), so I am praying that NOA2 of July fillers will be there (in one of those three weeks = by the end of October)! :hehe:

Good luck! Happy beginning and the end of the week to all of us

Average time between NOA2 and NVC receive is 7 days. Considering the NOA2 date was a Friday i guess it's not too far out of that range. I'll just keep checking over the next couple of days and hope!
