For the one person that said Igor's list shows someone who filed in August has been processed--that is quite encouraging! I filed on August 11...received by USCIS on August 14 at the Vermont Service Center. It is really encouraging to see an August app being considered....hope this means there will be more Augusts soon! Congrats to all the June's and July's!!! This process is really agonizing....but I know all good things come to those who wait...but I wish the wait would speed up! LOL :)

I hope that NOA2 will come soon for all of us! But what I dont understand is the fact that some of July or August fillers are already getting their NOA2, when there are lots of May or June fillers that still didnt get theirs?!

There's a background check, some take no time some can take like forever...

Some probably require a feedback from whatever security organization (Like FBI, Interpol...) which can last weeks or months.

Hmm, there's the interview of a USCIS agent who explains how it's processed.

You probably are already aware, but here is how to check the NVC....

When you get your NOA2 approval... call the NVC (I called after 4 days) using the number 603-334-0700, waited quite a while and then finally selected 5 which says speak to an operator or rep something like that. Gave them the EAC#####... number, they asked for beneficiary's name, dob, my name, dob and then told me the package is getting sent out today. Then they gave me my case number that will be used at the consultate (b/c we go through London it starts with LND). Have a great weekend. :)
