My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for the link to this sample Citizenship test, Bobby_Umit.

Ok, so for the fun of it, I just took this short test online......

However, bear in mind the following:

a ) I have not submitted any applications for the N-400 yet (I'll have to wait until August 2009 to do such)

b ) I have not received any N-400 study packages (How and where do I get one of those anyways?)

c ) I have not studied at all (What am I supposed to study exactly? I have no clue...)

d ) I have not looked up any of these answers online, or anywhere else (That would be cheating anyways)

e ) I have only used my past knowledge from: high school history courses taken many years ago (yes, Canadians learn American history....go figure...), general knowledge, media, etc.

And my results were....

75%.... :o

Not bad, considering the unusual circumstances....

I still have ways to go before I reach the 80-100% pass mark....But I still have some time (in the next 3-6 months) to study for such before the interview.....

On that note, does anyone else know of any good study sources online or elsewhere for these and other citizenship-related questions too?

Hi Ant,

you'll receive the study booklet (+ an audio CD) at your biometrics appt. It has all the 100 questions + answers and some extra information in it - though you'll not be tested on these extra lessons.

But you can find and download the questions also from the USCIS website - there is a link to the study material.

You did very well with a 75% quota - at the interview there is a 60% score required. :thumbs:

You'll still have plenty of time to study and the test isn't difficult at all.
