Just needed to write I'm feeling kinda anxious, Janna is coming to visit me on Aug 4th. I'm worried sick that she might have a problem at the PoE. Last time she visited she had absolutely no problem getting through all they asked to see was her return ticket and if she was staying at a hotel or at a private residence then she was let right through, but this was before we we sent our I-129F petition. I worried because I thought she may be loosing her job but it turns out that she is not so I guess that's a little bit better. We had originally planned for her to spend about 3 months here while we wait. She is an independent contract editor for a magazine in Russia and can work from her laptop if she needed. We started talking about this yesterday and felt maybe it would be better is she just buys a ticket for 3 weeks instead of 3 months as we both thought it may not raise as many flags with a shorter visit. She has purchased an adjustable plane ticket and we are hoping that they will give her maybe 3 months on her I-94. (Last time she came for 2 1/2 weeks and they granted her 6 months to stay on her visa.) and she can adjust her plane ticket a little bit longer if she is granted the time. She will have a lot of proof of ties back to Russia and I will send her a copy of our NoA1. I just worry, cus I will be taking a train from Charleston to NYC to meet her at the airport and it will be a very lonely trip back home if she gets denied. I just needed to vent a little..... thanks for taking the time to read.

It's a tricky one but once you send a I-129F petition it means you have the intention of immigrating. I wouldn't advice her to be quick to show them the NOA1 and I wouldn't even advice her to carry that with her. Just keep your fingers crossed that she meets an immigration officer who would be lenient but from experiences and stories on here, it is tougher when you have filed for an immigrant visa. All the best.
