hello everyone. my fiance is worry which poe we should use when he comes back here. i know its months away but a little back ground on us. he was here for 3months, didnt over stay, we went to england for the weekend came back and he was deny entry into the usa. this was at that the detroit poe. he wasnt deported or got any papers just refused cause he was self employed and they didnt beleive him that he still had tries to uk, which his son was still there but wasnt good enough for them. . so now he is worry of which airport to come in . i live between cleveland and akron ohio. should we use cleveland? or JFK? i see lots of vj member use JFK and have no problems or i just saw cincinnati is very easy to come too with no problems. or should we do detroit again since they have record of him coming in before ? i dont want to come threw detroit cause its very upsetting to both of us. so what you think ? please help me put my most wonderful loving care fiance mind at easy. i have gone to the top of the page and looked at the poe of other ppl and see how they did at this ports but i couldnt find anything on cleveland poe . thanks you for your time and also happy 4th of july !!! :dance:

entering on a K-1 visa versus tourist/VWP is very different situation.... Based on your facts he would have been denied entry at most any POE for trying to re-enter only after being out a couple days.

It wont matter which POE he enters on for the K-1. They know he will stay since that is the nature of the K-1. I don't recommend going through any undue time/effort/expense to choose an alternate POE to the one that is closest to your home. :thumbs:

yes we found this out buddy. i guess i needed to tell you that under the advise of our now ex-lawyer she told us to just leave for a fews days and come back but she never told us that this would happen to us so thats why i started all of this on my own and found vj. i wish i saw this site before we went to england and before we saw this horrible lawyer with bad advise but i learned from my mistakes. the only person i can count on is me!!

:thumbs: thank you for your reply. i was just hoping someone out there came threw cleveland, cause i think that will be the one i will have him fly into . but he wants to go to JFK cause he wants to see new york but i told him i just want him here and we'll take a vacation to new york. :blink:
