My fiancee is from Ecuador and she already has a travel visa to the US. We are halfway though the fiancee visa process and she wants to come and visit me. My question is can she do that? Will it cause any problems with our fiancee visa?

Yes she can. Please read the guides and do a search as this is a VERY commonly asked question.

DOnt mind the haters. Hope she is in your arms sooon!

Excuse me, I am not a hater, I just was saving myself the time to write out a complete explanation that I have written at least 10 times before. It's not that hard to do a search, just allerting the OP to the fact that the info is there to be found, which some info that people ask is not.

My fiancee is coming from Russia at the end of this month. It is a sticky situation. Yes, legally she can visit. There is no law to prohibiting her to see you. Now, having said that. It doesn't mean that the officers at the point of entry will allow her to enter. Some people have had their S/O's bring with them a copy of their petition, their NoA1 or 2, proof of a job or enlistment in school, proof of owning or renting property, owning any other things that are significant value (I.E. a car), If she has a child she is leaving behind for the trip tell her to bring evidence of this, a letter from yourself stating you will see to it that you will personally return her and pay for her expenses to arrive back to the airport, and also make sure she has a return ticket. having said all this the officers at the POE still reserve the right to turn her right back around to her country if they see fit. It seems like most ppl that are well prepared and bring supporting documents do not have too much of a problem. But again, you never know. I'm praying that my girl gets through the POE again with no problem. I will let you know what happens when she arrives in the beginning of Aug. Good luck! I hope you two will have good luck and be reunited.

Here's a good place to look for what evidence to bring.
