You can add me to the list. I received my NOA-1 on March 6, 2006. I had no activity after that, until I received the email telling me our file was sent to CSC for processing on July 6, 2006.

Bob

well its good to know there are a few of us but I still would like to know WHY???????? One person responded to my original post in the K3 section and said it happened to them a year ago and that they were approved soon after. So hopefully this is all a good thing for us!!??

I saw that too and I am really hoping that this means good news.

I do not wish to share any information about this dead end journey.........I have reached my final destination on this train, and it is time for me to get off.

I just got two emails that said my I130 has been transferred from VSC to CSC too. What's going on???

Thought maybe you might want to add Dinu to your list as well so thats five so far.

Read a couple of k-1's from texas got sent to Vermont.

Looks like they're shuffling things around to try to handle all the backlog.

Hopefully this wont hurt us all as CSC is already so slow at processing anything.

ME TOO. My NOA1 date is March 1, 2006. No touches or activity on my application/case at all until the e-mail today, stating that my application was transferred to California. I was not affected by new rules and did not have to deal with an RFE. Why are these cases being transferred, and what does it mean for us? This SUCKS! Jeez, haven't used that word in decades - but this seems like an appropriate time.

Please add me: NEWHAMPSHIRE NOA1 03/01/06 Transferred to California July 12, 2006

WHY DOES CALIFORNIA HAVE JURISDICTION OVER MY CASE? I'M IN NEW HAMPSHIRE AND MY HUSBAND IS IN ONTARIO, CANADA?!

I agree it sucks. I am with ya on the "local" office part. I am 2 hours from the Vermont Service center. California cannot be more NON local!!!! Today I got a notice of action from Vermont telling me that my case was transferred. It says "We transferred this case because the record shows that office has jurisdiction over the case. That office will notify you of subsequent action taken on this case. Any further inquiries should be made to that office." I had hoped I would get more information when I get something in snail mail. Guess not. So here I sit still in the dark.

Like I replied in the other post:

Are all of our applications (forwarded from Vermont or elsewhere to California) going to be processed in the order originally received by the USCIS, or in the order received in California?

I see I-130s in California filed almost a month after mine being approved.

Like I said before, I feel a little like being stuck in traffic after having seen a "right lane ending" sign, with cars whizzing by in that right hand closing lane, getting over at the last minute, and leaving all of us waiting our turn and following the rules to wait longer and longer and ...

Know it's not the applicant's fault, and I'm actually happy for them - but it's no fun waiting and watching things happen out of turn, regardless.
