Self Employee W2

hey there

I am self employee but i own a corporation.

My CPA does my tax and i dont get W2 bcz i get the income from my corporation

i think i do K99 at the end of the year to show the income of my corporation

I gave all my transcripts to my wife and to NVC with I-864 and had no problem

But my wife insist that she need W2 to show in the interview

any suggestions?

tax forms w/W-2's OR transcripts...

besides she does not need it... the I-864 has already been reviewed

A K-1 (it's a tax form) issued at year end from a corporation is considered personal income.

Normally W2s and 1099s are not required if a beneficiary has the petitioners tax transcripts from IRS. Best to have the past 3 years if self employed.

I did and it worked fine us.

If NVC did not send you RFE for I-864 you are good and you dont need W2 because you are self employed.

hi abby your wife doesnt need the W2 cuz you are self employed the above answers are all correct during my interview the co did not ask for that. Goodluck!
