i understand that they will search about ur crimnal history, and if u r involved in religion stuff, or being terriost, but most i hear, it happen to muslims, espicaly names with mohamed and ahmed and all the names that is deep muslim, am christian egyptian, is my idea is wrong, or right?

does religion involve in that, or just being arab man, will put u in in AP period?

Because they really have no way to know if you are Muslim, Christian or whatever - just being Arab is most likely enough. Most Arab men get put on AR. But not all - my husband didn't. Seems like it is just really common for all Arab men to get put on AR....

The "AP" you write about is "Administrative Processing", not "Advanced Parole".

They mean two very different things.

I can't think of any copt passing through here in the time I've been here, so I don't think any of us really know. All of us going through Egypt have muslim spouses/significant others.

I guess you'll just have to wait and see.

Being from Egypt you will be placed on AR just like the rest of us waiting Michael. Hope you don't have to wait (and still waiting) as long as everyone else has been from Egypt recently.

My husband(who is Christian) is from Egypt and he didnt have any AR/AP. He was issued a 221g but only because I needed a cosponsor and once I sent them the information needed my husband received his visa abt 3 weeks to a month after they rec'd the info. Im not saying everyone will have the same timeframe just posting my experience, maybe it had something to do with us have 3 photo albums of pictures from our wedding and applying DCF.
