I've looked around the forums about this, but didn't see a clear, concise answer. The instructions weren't much help either.

I was looking at the I-134 while waiting for my K1 to be approved (soon, please soon)

Is this strictly to show I'm above poverty level?

If I just put my gross salary (over 60K) and list my primary home and mortgage would that be enough?

Or do I need to fill out all the other stuff too no matter what ? (bank statements, broker statement, 401k, rental property)

Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between August 7, 2009 and August 22, 2009.

I arrive BKK Oct 29.

Marriage ceremony (non-legal) 6 a.m. Nov 2, 2552 Hua Hin, Thailand.

Arrive PDX Nov 7.

U.S. Marriage: 20-Dec-2009 Salem, OR

It depends on the consulate, which is why the instructions for the form are so vague. Many consulates, it seems, use the same standards as the I-864, which you'll be submitting later with the AOS paperwork. That means 125% of the poverty level. If your income alone is enough, then you shouldn't need to list your home or any other assets. Assets are usually only used if the income alone is short of the minimum.

12/15/2009 - K1 Visa Interview - APPROVED!

12/29/2009 - Married in Oakland, CA!

08/18/2010 - AOS Interview - APPROVED!

05/01/2013 - Removal of Conditions - APPROVED!

moving thread... you won;t find much in this forum

US Embassy and Consulate Discussion

You are almost there and now you have to deal with the embassy. This is the place to post your experiences or questions related to this last step before moving to the US. Topics relating to I-134's, packets sent from consulate and medical & police certificates should be posted here.

YMMV

The answer is - yes, it is to show that the beneficiary will not become a public charge (by your earning 125% of the federal poverty guideline).

That number varies depending on your household size (and whether you live in the 48 states or in Hawaii/Alaska). If your (gross) salary is above this amount (which it sounds like it is) you do not need to disclose assets (such as home, stocks, bank accounts, etc).

You would simply document your salary (e.g., income tax return/s with supporting documents and if possible, an employment letter), and leave the other areas blank.

No problem. Your salary is way above poverty levels. Verify your income and leave the rest blank. You do not need to list your home or anything else, just attach an employment letter and/or recent check stubs and last years tax return with w-2s. You are good to go.
