I submitted my AOS/AP/EAD June 30th but I am technically a July filer so add us up here. Just received my biometrics appointment for August 8. Hope we'll all have a smooth processing.:)

I tried a walk-in, but they didn't let me do it ( fort worth office), now I am waiting for August 1st for my regular appointment. However a lot of people don't have any troubles going earlier :thumbs: . Good luck.

Just to let you know that people who sent their paperwork early June are now getting interview dates for end of August/early September :dance: .

That's too bad! Did they give a reason why? At least Aug 1st isn't too far away :) I think I will try to walk in just so I could kill an extra week or two off the timeline, that is if they allow me to.

AOS Timeline

July 11, 2009 - Sent packets through USPS

July 13, 2009 - USCIS received packets

July 16, 2009 - NOAs (I-130, I-485, I-765) dated

July 18, 2009 - Received NOAs in the mail

July 24, 2009 - Received Biometrics schedule for August 18, 2009

July 25, 2009 - Did a walk-in for my biometrics. Done! Case status for I-130, I-765 show online

Aug 08, 2009 - Received Interview appointment letter in the mail, for Sept 08. Thank you Lord and Mother Mary!

Sept 04, 2009 - EAD card production ordered

Sept 08, 2009 - Interview!!! *approved pending new I-693: The civil surgeon left blank certain parts of my medical!

Had to go back to him and had him fill out a new I-693 form*

Sept 09, 2009 - Received email - card production ordered, yay!

Sept 10, 2009 - Received EAD card

Sept 17, 2009 - Received Greencard. Woohoo!!!

OK EVERYONE!!!!!!!!! My check was cashed today!!!!!!!!! :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: Looked for the check on my online banking and there it was. Andddd when I got home from work, I checked the mail box and there they were........2 NOAs. One for the application for employment and the other for the AOS. What a relief.... :yes: Now it's await for the appointment letter for the biometrics.

Good Luck to Everyone else. Praying for everyone.

Congrats! :star: Maybe it just took extra time to get to you :) Our checks were just cashed today as well, though we did receive the NOAs last Saturday. I see you're in SF, I'll be going there next month. I can't wait!

Wait wait, Karri, you sent via FedEx? To the Chicago Lockbox? They told me they wouldn't send to PO Boxes! :bonk:

Duh. Of course there's a courier address in the instructions. Derf. Oh well, it made it there one way or another...

hey we have the same date of AOS. the day we sent in the mail and our biometrics appointment. hehe. Goodluck to both of us and to everyone.

My fiance's SS card was issued and assigned, we even got a paper giving us the number, but the card was lost in the mail. When we went in to order a replacement, they wouldn't since his I-94 had just expired. :wacko: They said he has to wait until he gets his EAD or greencard. We wouldn't have been able to remedy the situation even if we went in before the I-94 had expired because manual verification took so long anyway and we were close to the 90 day mark anyway.

I just realized that I still called my hubby my "fiance" here.... :oops: It's funny cause I hadn't posted on VJ over the last few months since going through the K1 process..haha.

So just had to clarify my "husband's" card! lol :innocent:

Ok, carry on, congrats to all the NOA1's :star:

2009-08-12 no biometrics yet.......called on 30 day mark to report no biometrics, a service inquiry has been made on the case.....

2009-08-25 - received Biometrics appointment letter!

2009-08-27 I-131 (AP) approved

2009-09-15 Biometrics appointment

2009-09-15 EAD Card production ordered!

2009-09-23 EAD Card received

2009-10-06 GC approved/card production ordered

Funny you should mention that, I usually have no problems remembering to call him husband, but sometimes I refer to myself as his girlfriend instead of wife! Something like "isn't your girlfriend great?" instead of "isn't your wife great?"

He always laughs at me, and corrects me :P

I grew up in San Fran and man has it changed since I was a kid! I got to go home in May for my honeymoon.

SF is gorgeous! I'd love to live there, even for a short while, but it's sooo expensive there :( I've only been there once and it was such a short time so I'm looking forward to going there in Aug!
