hi to all...

i also had my interview yesterday and i thought it was going to be a disaster :girlwerewolf2xn: we got lost on our way there, and so we were late for the interview. appointment was 10:15am but we got there at 10:40. thank god everyone was nice, they still let us in. but then again after we were seated i remember we forgot our rings! :crying: i was really worried.. how stupid of us to forget that. but then we are already there so we had to stay and forget the ring. we waited and finally we were called in by an officer at 11:15 i guess. the officer only asked questions about what's on the application, the I-485 form. the name, birthday and all that stuff and the part where u answered yes or no. he also asked my husband the same thing like his name, birthday, birthplace etc. he was checking the answers on the forms. then he asked for secondary evidence we brought, we only had wedding pictures and mail addressed to both and to my name with same address. that's all we had since my husband have not been able to add me on his health insurance, no joint accounts too. we 're all done after about 15 minutes or so. i didn't take much notice of the time because i was worried about messing things up because we were late and we don't have enough evidence to show. at the end of the interview, the man, he was i guess 50 something, printed something out on the computer and let both of us sign it. when i looked at it, it was a notice to conditional permanent resident alien. he told me that i will receive my card in 4-8 weeks. yay! i was approved!:thumbs::dance: after all the worries everything went out fine.

then just now i received an email from CRIS, saying card production for I485 has been ordered. gee, that was quick! to all who will have their interviews good luck! and there's nothing to worry about the interview.

My wife had her interview today. We showed up 30 min early and went through security and was told to go to window on second floor. Went to second floor and checked. I was surprised there was only one family there for and interview. USCIS officer came out at 1pm which was out appointment time and took us back. She was polite but I got a feeling she really did not want to be there since it was Saturday. All seem to go well during the interview. She told us everything look ok and we were done. Then she told us we would know something in 30 to 60 days. She would not tell us if we were approved. Also she kept my wife's I94. Is that the norm for them to keep it? I asked one of the persons at the counter about it and he called her to find out about the I94 . He told me after talking to her there should be no problem with her getting approved and the I94 was really only for entry into the US. So we are still waiting for the approval.

And naturally the USCIS website still says Initial Review and we did the interview today. LOL

From the looks of what is known about csc transfers ppl with a noa1 of may and june are getting approved along with a few people in july :( I like the idea of not getting an interview but not having any idea when you might get approved is horrible... it is noa2 of k1 all over again :help: At least if you don't get sent to csc you have an idea by now of when you will get approved. But I think things will start to pick up in Oct and a lot of us will get approved.

True.....But the bright side is that at least we're all with reunited with our SO's.... and at least we/they can still travel and work legally at this point. It's frustrating, but I'd much rather be waiting now than last year's dreadful wait for the K1 approval
