OK so we had our Biometrics done on August 28th.They said I need an Infopass because ofr my name still being in the system as my maiden name,so lat Thursday we went back to Seattle and had that changed.

It seems that everybody is getting their EAD's and AP's these days that had their Bio's done around the time we did but I havent even gotten a touch since August 31st.

Could it have something to do with the FBI Check or is that done later ? (I have a Twin sister and she has something on her Police Record,very minor but it's on there and seeing that our Birthdate"s ,last names and at one point in the not so distant past even Street Address were the same I wonder)_

Should I get worried ?

Seattle seems very quick with giving EAD Approvals so I really wonder.................

EAD arrived today. Job time!

Congrats. Race ya for a job! Nothing like picking the worst employment situation for 26 years is there? :jest:

Got my Social Security # today so off to the DMV tomorrow.

Familyguy, ur in PA? Can you let me know how DMV went? I am having a hell of a time!!!!! I went, they processed halfway. then said they have to check SAFE system for immigrants and that my file was going to Harrisburg...they said I would get something in 7-10 days...it's been over 2 weeks. I called Penndot, they have nothing on me and I have to phisically go back to that DMV location to talk to someone! #######?!

I wonder if it'll make a diff if I go with EAD? But they say I qualify, just need to do a background and verify my status as legal? pfff...

Yipee! Got the email for my I-485 just now, card production ordered!!!

WOOOHOOOOO!!!! YOu are our first GC approval...what fabulous news!!!!!!!! I'm so happy for you! Holy we filed the same time, I got CSC trans, you got interview and approved sooner.... that just goes to show you that past trends are as accurate as ***** lol...

Ok, so I got my AP in the mail today...

I got two copies...does this mean it is only good for two trips? I'm confused why it's two copies, and how do I activate? Do I see them before I leave across boarder or after?

Also, a week ago got an email saying 'EAD card production ordered on Sept 2, give 30 days'...then today I got again 'EAD card production ordered, give 30 days'... What is this?

They are the same email? Or does one mean that card was ordered and the other mean it was mailed out? So confused?

I GOT IT !!! MY EAD IS APPROVED AND CARD PRODUCTION IS ORDERED!!

Got the e mail an hour after my last post ! Yay what a relief !

Same as you Natashabrenda i also received and email from cris just today about the card production order of my EAD..date during my biometrics...

K1 -visa:Timeline

6/26/08:resent the 1-129f package to VSC

8/21/08:received NOA1 in the mail,yeyeyeh i was relief after the long period of waiting

1/28/09:NOA2 received ...in 161 days from NOA1

2/10/09:received appointment letter from USEM

3/11 - 12 : MEDICAL -- passed

3/30/09: INTERVIEW -- APPROVED

4/02/09:VISA deliver at home at 2:45 pm

5/28/09:SSN arrived after less than 1 week from filling.

6/01/09:Wedding day.[/color]

07/08/09:sent the 1-485 forms for adjustment of status package to chicago (USPS)..Day 1

07/10/09:arrived USCIS,chicago...(when i checked the USPS post office)...Day 3

07/12/09:check cashed...Day 5

07/15/09:noa1 date for (AOS,AED,AP)i thanks god for everything...(date arrived,07/20/09)...Day 10

08/12/09:calling USCIS to check the bio apt...Day 35

08/25/09:bio notice date issued...Day 48

08/29/09:bio notice received.(thank u so much mama mary...)...Day 52

09/04/09:AP arrived in the mail (date issued 08/27/09)

09/09/09:biometrics done...

09/17/09:EAD = card arrived today...so happy...

10/03/09:interview notice received

11/05/09:AOS -- interview approved (thank u mama mary)...

11/16/09: GREEN CARD arrived today...

Familyguy, ur in PA? Can you let me know how DMV went? I am having a hell of a time!!!!! It went fine but I had the EAD with me and a stamped letter from DSS with my SS number so that may be what makes the difference? I hope you get is sorted out soon. :thumbs:

On another note we got notice of our Interview today 7th October fingers legs and dangly bits all crossed! :dance:

October 20,2009 at 1.30pm...............Something weird was sent with it though,there was an extra reminder form that was focused on prior arrests and convictons.It was in mine and my sons letter. My son is 8 and my Police Record was crystal clear. Does everybody get that ??

Yep came with mine as well - looked like a photocopy filler. I wouldn't worry about it, at least I am not :jest:

2009-07-11 AOS packet mailed (and supposedly delivered the same day)

2009-07-15 NOA1 for I-485, I-131, I-765 (USCIS rec'd date is 07-12)

2009-08-05 Case transferred to CSC

2009-08-12 no biometrics yet.......called on 30 day mark to report no biometrics, a service inquiry has been made on the case.....

2009-08-25 - received Biometrics appointment letter!

2009-08-27 I-131 (AP) approved

2009-09-15 Biometrics appointment

2009-09-15 EAD Card production ordered!

2009-09-23 EAD Card received

2009-10-06 GC approved/card production ordered

2009-10-13 GC received in the mail!

yes star_dragon that was a great news after my biometrics...1-485 was touch a day after my bio and the card production order of my 1-765 is 1 day after the touches..

im hoping also you will have yours as quick as mind...so with the rest of the july fillers...god bless

Hi guys!

I also got an email an hour ago saying that my EAD card had been ordered!!!!

My mind was starting to make up the most horrible things :devil: because I had not had any touches since Chicago received my papers ... I have had had my bio appointment but the online status showed no touches ... fiuuuuu!! I can breath again :dance: (and dance).

Let's hope the little card arrives soon!

Congratulations to those receiving CRIS emails and patience to those still waiting.

We just found out my husband's interview (and mine too, I suppose ;) ) is on Monday, October 19th! Yea... almost donr!

9/24/11 - Mailed I-751 packet to CSC

9/26/11 - NOA1 Receipt Date

9/28/11 - Check cashed

10/1/11 - NOA1 arrived in mail

3/19/12 - RFE

5/3/12 - RoC APPROVED!!!

Still waiting on my EAD, after I got 3 emails saying it was approved and card production was ordered...I got an email on Sept 2, 6, and 11th...

WTH???? Is this normal? anyways, i'm still waiting...

On a positive note, I finally got my DL today! After 5 visits to the DMV!!!!
