Hello July filers!!

I finally sent our papers today via FedEx. Should receive tomorrow morning.

Had a scare. I was sitting at my work desk thinking about the money I needed to deposit at lunch time and realized I didn't put the check in the package!! Luckily it hadn't been picked up and I was able to rush down and put it in! I can't believe I almost forgot the most important part!!! What a dork! Luckily things turned out ok so far! Now I hope for no RFE's. (but if I forgot the check, I probably forgot something else!! Time will tell!)

What part of PA are you guys in? And more importantly where the heck can I get a real Doner Kebab? :blink:

We are an hour West of Philadelphia. 20 minutes from Valley Forge.

As for Doner Kebab, I have heard of a newer restaurant in Phila., S & H Kebab House. I hope to be able to try it soon, maybe this weekend :)

12/23/08 - Yilmaz received approval letter for his waiver in mail!!!

03/18/09 - 2nd IV interview in Ankara

03/18/09 - Visa approved. Will be sent via UPS to his home address

03/25/09 - Received visa at home address

04/18/09 - Arrival in U.S.!!!!!!

05/21/09 - Married on the beach in Hawaii

07/12/09 - Mailed AOS papers via FedEX

7/18/09 - NOA for AOS/EAD/AP

7/30/09 - I-485 transferred to CSC

8/19/09 - Biometrics appointment @ 11 AM---COMPLETED

Hi Julia :) Wow, all this talk about Turkish food, I am getting very hungry!

Our AOS package was received today in Chicago. Now just to wait and see what else I forgot!

Hello all! Count me in! FINALLY mailed our package on the 10th and they received it on the 12th (I'm quite the procrastinator). Checks haven't been cashed yet though. I'm crossing my fingers that this won't be too long of a wait! Wishing everyone a speedy AOS! :star:

July 16, 2009 - NOAs (I-130, I-485, I-765) dated

July 18, 2009 - Received NOAs in the mail

July 24, 2009 - Received Biometrics schedule for August 18, 2009

July 25, 2009 - Did a walk-in for my biometrics. Done! Case status for I-130, I-765 show online

Aug 08, 2009 - Received Interview appointment letter in the mail, for Sept 08. Thank you Lord and Mother Mary!

Sept 04, 2009 - EAD card production ordered

Sept 08, 2009 - Interview!!! *approved pending new I-693: The civil surgeon left blank certain parts of my medical!

Had to go back to him and had him fill out a new I-693 form*

Sept 09, 2009 - Received email - card production ordered, yay!

Sept 10, 2009 - Received EAD card

Sept 17, 2009 - Received Greencard. Woohoo!!!

as if we are in the same boat...until this time still waiting for the return receipt to sent me back,but nothing else arrive in about 6 working days from the day it was sent to USCIS,CHICAGO,IL?and i even try checking this link http://www.usps.com/shipping/trackandconfirm.htm but still nothing will show about my status,i sent my package through registered mail,with return receipt...keep praying and hoping we both can hear some good news from the USCIS...
