Ok good news, our cases got touched today so that means the bio appt is now officially in our records. Also got a repeat of that transfer email. Maybe the system is confused because it got transferred before our bio appt lol. Anyways, back to waiting!

Hey Karri, we got the repeat email too. They have to link the Bio info to 485 but it doesn't officially change the case status so it repeats the most recent email. It's a touch with no info basically, as far as I know.

Hello everybody!

Remember I was wondering about doing a biometrics walk-in in Sacramento? Well, finally I did it yesterday and everything was perfect ... and very quickly, thank God.

Congrats to the recent AP/EAD!!!! Good to see things moving...just updated my spreadsheet and I noticed many people have done the I-693...did you all actually have your medical transcribed by the SG? Did anyone use that Texas guy?

I just chanced it and sent my Vaccination Supliment...I know many that had no issues and got approved as long as ur medical is less than a year old... I hope I don't get an RFE cause of it...as I heard they are getting tight... at least it won't hold up my AP or EAD...I want to use my son's EAD to get his SSN...

Guess only time will tell :)

I'm hoping to get my AP in the next few weeks, but it looks like we won't get it before school starts :( this means it will be a short weekend visit back home...we haven't seen family since May...

We had a full medical done by a SG. The doctor in Ireland didn't give hubby his DS-3025. But loads of people have used Dr. Arnold (she's a she, not a he :P) with success. And you're right, I've also noticed them cracking down on the I-693's, I hope you sneak through!

I hope so too lol...I just followed suit with most of the people on the Canadian forum...in the past year, very few did the I-693...and they all rec'd GC's without incident. I think I would get an RFE more so for the fact that my son had a vaccination scheduled shot for his Hep B...and even though he got the shot...I didn't update it...see what happens...again i'm just eager to get the AP and if the GC gets held up...oh well lol... the feeling of getting an RFE is almost like getting a failing grade lol :)

P.S. We never got an approval email - same for AP too. Only found out when we got the docs. in the mail. We are signed up for email alerts. Who knows. It was an excellent surprise! =)

just an update of my case..35 days but havent receive bio apt..

so earlier this day we called USCIS regarding my bio apt..my husband was the one who spoke to them..they just asked for my permission if my husband can give them any personal information..so i said yes offcourse..so my husband told them that he is the petitioner and until now i havent receive my bio apt after almost a month..so the guy asked for my name,add,bday,etc..so the guy told my husband that we need to wait 30-45 days from filing my AOS..and they gave my husband the SERVICE REQUEST (the guy was typing a message saying that the petitioner is asking if they can full my papers and send my bio apt,(something like that)..)after that they gave us REFERRAL NUMBER (in case we havent receive it after 45 days)..they said maybe my papers was just missedplace thats why maybe they havent send it yet..and said they were gonna prioritized my husbands request(i really hope so)..they were gonna send it b4 the 45 days..I WISH..

atleast now i know somethin about my case..

3/11 - 12 : MEDICAL -- passed

3/30/09: INTERVIEW -- APPROVED

4/02/09:VISA deliver at home at 2:45 pm

5/28/09:SSN arrived after less than 1 week from filling.

6/01/09:Wedding day.[/color]

WOW!! i havent been here for a while and I was surprised that a lot got their AP and EAD. Congrats! i am just wondering you were saying that u can get a touch after the bio? I didnt got any of it, though I got a repeat email of the transferring of the case at CSC the following day after my bio. So does that mean that it's basically a touch too?

Still waiting, was out of town for a few days and just came back and thought that Bio appt would be in the mailbox :wacko:

That's what I think. We all got repeat emails after bio, so that's my guess. They don't send out emails saying, "hey, your bio is now attached" so the system automagically resends the most recent status.

Just my guess tho.
