*sigh*grumble*sigh*grumble*

Considering our mailman is taking his own vacation of only delivering our mail a few times a week...I wonder what's going on. Still nothing in the mail from them about transferring the case, just the email. And no biometrics..and no soc sec card still (since I'm complaining about my mail) :innocent:

2009-07-11 AOS packet mailed (and supposedly delivered the same day)

2009-07-15 NOA1 for I-485, I-131, I-765 (USCIS rec'd date is 07-12)

2009-08-05 Case transferred to CSC

2009-08-12 no biometrics yet.......called on 30 day mark to report no biometrics, a service inquiry has been made on the case.....

2009-08-25 - received Biometrics appointment letter!

2009-08-27 I-131 (AP) approved

2009-09-15 Biometrics appointment

2009-09-15 EAD Card production ordered!

2009-09-23 EAD Card received

2009-10-06 GC approved/card production ordered

2009-10-13 GC received in the mail!

I got my biometrics appointment in the mail today for September 1st (dated Aug 5th). I got one for my 11 year old daughter too.....I thought as she was under 14 she didn't need biometrics? :huh:

Read up - Bio is required for all AOS regardless of age, but not for K-2 under 14. Poprocks explained it better a few pages back... :thumbs:

People that filed at the beginning of June and were transferred to CSC are now receiving their GC approval notices. So we've got 3 weeks to go before they start rolling in! And EADs should start coming in soon as well.

Aaaaaaaand Karri, Niniel, and Verito are up for Bio today, good luck and relax!

yupppppp. I had my biometrics this morning @ 11:50 in the USCIS JAMAICA/QUEENS and everything went fine!! :dance: except for the parking.. there was no place 2 park anywhere and the paid parking was fullll.. :angry:

I won't hold my breath either. There is only a small handful of people in the June filers that are receiving stuff, some still need EAD's, some don't have interview letters ect...

Every case is different so I'm not expecting a certain timeline or I'm going to drive myself insane.

With that said, no news here yet :)

AOS Short Version:

06/26/09 - Mailed package to Chicago Lockbox!

07/07/09 - NOA's Arrive for AP, AOS & EAD [dated 07/01/09]

07/17/09 - Biometrics Completed [ Completed in 17 Days ]

08/12/09 - EAD APPROVED! Card Ordered! [Approved in 47 Days]

08/20/09 - Interview notice arrived dated 08/18/09 - Sept 24th/09

08/21/09 - Got EAD Card in the mail!! :D

09/24/09 - Interview Date: 9:00am - APPROVED

10/03/09 -Received GC!!!!!

Total Days from NOA1 to Approval : 86 Days

ROC:

04/01/11 - Preparing for ROC currently

06/27/11 - ROC Mailed!

07/02/11 - NOA1 Arrived [dated 06/30/11]

07/13/11 - Biometrics letter arrived [08/01/11]

10/31/11 - Final Approval!

11/04/11 - Received new card today.

Total Days from NOA1 to Approval: 125 Days

Next Step will be citizenship in June 2012!

Just came back from my biometrics, I guess I got lucky. The guard was very strict about appointments.. I only got taken in because the lady in front of me forgot to bring her marriage certificate so there was a free spot. He said they normally don't take walk-ins.

- 08/01/2009: Advanced Parole Documents Issued

- 08/06/2009: Biometrics appointment completed

- 08/11/2009: EAD issued (received 8/14)

- 11/12/2009: AOS approved

- 11/20/2009: Green Card in hand!

Our biometrics went fine today. We got there about 50 min early cause I wanted to be safe with traffic and parking. (I swear I got the last spot in the city hall garage) and we had no problems arriving early. Only about 5 groups of people ahead of us, we were out of there in about 20-25 min after we filled out the form. There were two people working in that room. Did they scan your barcodes when you went? I don't remember them doing that to Sam's. I hope we get some touches soon!

most of you guys were done for the bio..where is my bio notice..??????

I know how you feel. I'm just hoping that since I had a bio 2 years ago (I filed for AOS under employment that has seemed to dead end), that maybe they will skip that step. I heard they are only valid for like a year though, but I'm hoping maybe they changed that.

i just wish we can hear something from them this week..im so depressed..
