Ok, I called this morning (hubby had to be next to me since it's his case now), and they said that I must wait 30 days before they can make an inquiry. So I can call next week. They were very nice about it, and acknowledged that the case had been transferred yesterday. I expressed my concern about missing an appointment, but they said I must wait 30 days. Ah well.......

Well at least we know there's a 30-day limit, that's something...

At least I know when I should call now! I was all excited in the beginning when I mailed my package on Monday, they got it Tuesday, and I got the NOA in the mail saturday... so in 5 days I mailed, and got my NOAs back. I thought things were going to go fast! Now I'm behind the curve :) Oh well, I'll eventually get it, and it should be much faster than what I was doing (I've been trying to get an employment based greencard for about 8 years :)

Yeah I even mentioned innocently "I just want to double check to make sure it wasn't lost and he misses it" :innocent:

But she said I can call next week. She was very nice. So that makes me happy. If they had been rude, it would have ruined my day :P

Oh and FYI, she asked me what the receipt date was on the NOA1 and I said July 12, but the official NOA1 is dated July 15. But you know above that they put receipt date and it was July 12. She didn't say anything about that. I wonder what date I really need to go by and if they're even that picky. Who knows.....

Ok, so question, if the AOS case is transferred to CSC, what happens to the AP and EAD cases? They are processed somewhere else then, correct?

Anyone know what the approximate approval times for cases transferred is? I was glancing at timelines last night and many who were transferred in June seemed to be getting approval notices already.

You're right, it's only about 9 weeks minimum for transfer cases. Sometimes longer if there's a holdup like an RFE or bad fingerprints.

AP and EAD cases are processed at MSC.

Hi, i'm new to this thread! We got our NOA's dated on July 31st (K1&K2). I have a couple of questions regarding what happens next:

1. Does the sooner you get biometrics out of the way make it any quicker to getting EAD?

2. Does Charlotte NC do walk-in biometrics (I have looked and as far as I can tell they don't??)?

3. Can I call to reschedule my biometrics appointment for a sooner date if possible? If so, who do I call? (I have not received my biometrics appointment yet).

Thanks all, I really want to start work asap!! I'm sooo bored sat at home all day! :D

Just saying Hi to everyone.

I lost some weight today the Doctor removed $200 from my pocket for the medical and tells me he will remove another $225 for the vaccinations as I don't have my medical records from home

Of course I just know as I had a BCG the TB test will come back with a false positive and require x rays and a prescription I will never file

I hope the rest of you are not losing any weight :pop:

Hey guys!

Just to let you know that I got my NOAs for AOS and EAD last Friday 31 and my biometrics appointment today!

One question, If I got my bio appointment, does that mean that my case will not be transferred and I will have to go through an interview?

Thanks!

Patricia

Well they won't issue EAD until Bio has been done. Most EADs arrive 2-4 weeks after Bio, so if you reschedule or miss Bio the longer you'll wait til you get your EAD.
