2009-07-11 AOS packet mailed (and supposedly delivered the same day)

2009-07-15 NOA1 for I-485, I-131, I-765 (USCIS rec'd date is 07-12)

2009-08-05 Case transferred to CSC

2009-08-12 no biometrics yet.......called on 30 day mark to report no biometrics, a service inquiry has been made on the case.....

2009-08-25 - received Biometrics appointment letter!

2009-08-27 I-131 (AP) approved

2009-09-15 Biometrics appointment

2009-09-15 EAD Card production ordered!

2009-09-23 EAD Card received

2009-10-06 GC approved/card production ordered

2009-10-13 GC received in the mail!

There was a GC approval for June today, NOA Issued on June 1, so it looks like we'll start getting approvals in 1 month. Look out Karri, you're up first!

Scott, if you search the AOS forum, you'll see that I just posted the same question about Biometrics and a K2.

I got a notice for my 5 year old son. Bio at Consulate stage is for only 14 and older. AOS is bio for everyone.... They only do a photo and one thumb print. So to answer your question, yes your 9 year old has a bio appmnt they must attend. Luckily mine and my sons got scheduled the same day an hour apart and it's before school starts.

I was under the assumption that children didn't bio either, but they do.

Thanks for the replies. I will just take her to the Bio appointment then. Just seemed strange because there is no fee for Bio under 14 years old, so I assumed there wouldn't be one. I didn't think about a photo because we had to send in passport style photos with AOS packet. Come to think of it now though, they took a photo at my wife's Bio and that was the one they used for her GC, not the ones we sent with the packet. I guess I will not try to make sense of this process and just follow the notice. :D

I did notice from the sheet that you are also in Chicago. I wonder if our service center is backed up or something.... hopefully we'll get the bio appointments soon!

06/26/09 - Mailed package to Chicago Lockbox!

07/07/09 - NOA's Arrive for AP, AOS & EAD [dated 07/01/09]

07/17/09 - Biometrics Completed [ Completed in 17 Days ]

08/12/09 - EAD APPROVED! Card Ordered! [Approved in 47 Days]

08/20/09 - Interview notice arrived dated 08/18/09 - Sept 24th/09

08/21/09 - Got EAD Card in the mail!! :D

09/24/09 - Interview Date: 9:00am - APPROVED

10/03/09 -Received GC!!!!!

Total Days from NOA1 to Approval : 86 Days

ROC:

04/01/11 - Preparing for ROC currently

06/27/11 - ROC Mailed!

07/02/11 - NOA1 Arrived [dated 06/30/11]

07/13/11 - Biometrics letter arrived [08/01/11]

10/31/11 - Final Approval!

11/04/11 - Received new card today.

Total Days from NOA1 to Approval: 125 Days

Next Step will be citizenship in June 2012!

If I don't get mine by Saturday I will probably call the USCIS and ask what is going on. Not sure what number to call about that. You should probably call now, you are well behind the others.

6/26/08:resent the 1-129f package to VSC

8/21/08:received NOA1 in the mail,yeyeyeh i was relief after the long period of waiting

1/28/09:NOA2 received ...in 161 days from NOA1

2/10/09:received appointment letter from USEM

3/11 - 12 : MEDICAL -- passed

3/30/09: INTERVIEW -- APPROVED

4/02/09:VISA deliver at home at 2:45 pm

5/28/09:SSN arrived after less than 1 week from filling.

6/01/09:Wedding day.[/color]

I could only find two records in the past 3 months from Chicago other than yours in July and the longest they waited was 2 weeks. I think you should call...
