AOS Filers - July 2009

I saw the case status for my I-130 and I-765 after I did bio. Not for the I-485 though :shrugs: Although that seems to be the case for most people here as well.

I got my NOA for my EAD , NOA for my K2's EAD and AP. but I do not have my AP and the our NOAs for AOS is not in the mail. Is it really like that? I thought it comes in at the same time?

YAY!!!!! We finally got our NOA1 for my daughter's AOS from her K-2 Visa. It seems to have taken a long time, a week after they received the packet, to generate the NOA1. Most people I saw had a 2 or 3 day turn around. Maybe it had something to do with our being late to file. At least its here.

So I guess we are officially July filers now as our NOA1 date is July 24th. Good luck to everyone waiting and hope for a speedy approval for everyone.

I know exactly what everyone means about the house husband thing. It is not going over too well with Yilmaz. He gets very bored and depressed! Plus, I could really use the financial help!! We had some unexpected big ticket car repairs and the wedding combo Honeymoon cost more than I thought! Still trying to catch up!

Family guy, I found another Turkish Restaurant in Phila. It is called Divan. I am hoping to go their after our Biometric app. on August 19th.

Oh and I cheated - I got so excited when you told me about the kebab house we went there that night Well it is like 4 years since I had one; and I have to say it was really good. It was a beautiful summers evening and they had tables outside so we could watch the world go by in the weird way that it always does on South Street. I highly recommend it.

I am glad you enjoyed the restaurant on South Street. Yilmaz and I went last week. It was good. I could see how happy Yilmaz was to be surrounded by familar things. We decided to eat inside (we went during the day and it was a little warm). Then we decided to walk around South Street. I forgot how interesting it is. We went into Condom Kingdom. It reminded me of a Disneyfied sex shop

Try Divan Turkish Kitchen. 918 S. 22nd Street., Philadelphia. www.divanturkishkitchen.com. I have been there before and their food is good as well.

Got my official transfer letter in the mail today. Am I the only one transferred so far from July? I dunno if I should feel special or nervous lol.

Hi our case was transferred to CSC too. I saw it online last July 23. I haven't received my letter though. We're on the same boat. They said it's a good thing to be transferred. Wish us all the best!

I am coming to join you guys. My Package arrived June 26th however my NOA's were dated July 1st so I thought I'd belong here more then the June filers

I already did my biometrics almost 2 weeks ago now. Very simple, 15 minutes in and out.

Oh just a quick word of advice, don't wash your hands or use those hand sanitizers, apparently it makes it harder to get your fingerprints!

Wishing us all good luck in the coming months!

Also I saw the other months have spreadsheets, do we have one I can add myself too?

We have pretty much the same timeline lol , except for they didn't let me do my biometrics earlier and now I'm waitting for Aug-1.

Good luck! i am looking forward for your updates, it would be a good way to check if doing biometrics earlier speeds-up the process

Yes our timeline is pretty much exactly the same!

I actually went to do the biometrics on the monday after I got the letter (07/13/09) but they told me they don't do them in the late afternoon

so she set me up to go back that friday. She seemed fairly annoyed with me too!!

I do wonder if going in early changes anything! I'm honestly surprised I haven't heard about my EAD yet.

I've seen a lot of people get them within a week or two after the biometrics appointments. Friday will be 2 weeks for me.
