can anyone tell me if its ok to use more than one money order for the I-485 fee? we don't have checks yet and would like to send the paperwork b4 we would received checks we ordered. money orders have a max of $1000, would we be able to use a cashiers check? the Guides only say to use money order or personal check. and since we don't have personal checks right now we would need 2 money orders. time is of the essence so we really don't want to have to order the personal checks and wait for them to arrive. We do have Starter checks would that work? i know some businesses/organizations wont accept the starters.
