Its apparently controversial b/c of the vomeronasal organ not getting its likely respect among our species yet. If it all turns out that VMO doesn't really exist and human pheromones are a sham... those magazine ads for losers that can't get dates are in serious doo doo.

However lucky them... there is some decent research going on in that area that suggests something is going on... Check out Martha McClintock's work in psychophysics.

CN 0 would be technically the nerve carrying that VMO message to the brain.
