Yes, you probably would. (Actually I had you in mind as I initiated the thread.)

Only thing to know now is that site doesn't offer it "outside of the UK." If you know what torrents are (:D) you can get the first 3 episodes that way.

Electricity is really just organized lightning.

For several years in a former job (before they started doing massive network and remote applications) we had custom-built (spec-wise) computers that were nothing close to company standard. Our IT people were as lost as we were and troubleshooting became a collaboration.

They trained me very well to make sure I had info for them in later years when things were more standardized. They also let me know that I don't have the patience to be an IT person. ;)

I think I might prefer being company IT person to being tech support (which is what I do). As stupid as some of the requests our IT department gets are, the things my caller say absolutely stun me into silence because I really cannot comprehend that level of stupidity.

And....episode 4 is listed on the UK site. Yay!

They also let me know that I don't have the patience to be an IT person. ;)

In that company there was little difference between "technical support" and "IT"...it was telecommunications. The difference there was voice vs. data support. Data support got everything from software to hardware to networking, to ... etc. (namely, anything that wasn't a phone or a phone line). They were also housed in a completely different building so accessibility, especially when I was under deadlines, was an issue.

And I wasn't allowed to do any of my troubleshooting without contacting one of them or our equipment would be slapped with union "hot" stickers. (I used to call up my IT buddy on speakerphone and he'd be playing games while I fixed the PC...)
