2 lanes exit right off of the interstate but stay in the left one. The trucks have to go in the right.

You will go through a stop light then try to bear to your right since that is where the Nexus lane is.

They're under construction in the duty free area.... it narrows down into one lane accessing the bridge. But don't.... whatever you do.... stay in the left lane coming off the 190. It's the one which takes you to the 290. Keep in the right-hand lane so you can turn right towards the Peace Bridge. The right-hand lane opens up into two lanes. That's where you'll want to stay in your lane. I think this is the area you must be referring to, Wiz.

:lol: I think so too! All I know is when I go back to Canada I head north west and end up in the right place. :yes: I'll pay more attention when I go back up at the end of July. Now I'm curious as to what I am talking about. :wacko:

Well,

My wife, son (USC's) and I (Canadian GC holder) had our Nexus interview last Friday. Our interview was in Detroit at the Ambassador Bridge. We signed in and gave over our respective ID's. The waiting area had about 10 people watching an information video about the program. The Canadian border services agent then updated the group on the list of changes to the program since the video was made.

We were called up individually, my wife by Canadian Border Service and I by USCBP. They reviewed our applications, took our pictures and finger prints and that was it. For my 3 month old son the Canadians basically tried to get him to look at the Camera and that was it.

I asked about the baby travelling with just one of us over the border, and they said that was no problem, but I still would not try it without the note. Also I asked what to do when I remove conditions, I was told to drop in with updated docs, no appointment necessary.

Maybe they went easy on us since we were there with a baby, or maybe my wife and I look harmless. I found that saying that it was his fussy time and he could go off at any time really moved the process along.

Good luck to other Nexus interviewee's.

Get it. With some of the dumb questions they asked me at the interview...I'd still do it again. It's sooo worth it.

No! You should get it! :lol: It's awesome! I just had a stupid experience, that's all. I'm sure it's probably not like that most of the time.

For me it felt like an interrogation..but I think the border guard was just being an a-hole.
