How did you do that Sus??

For some reason that made me think of a tip I learned on a French cooking show on PBS. The chef cut an onion and put it cut side down into a pan until it was blackened. Then he put the entire onion into his beef soup base and said that the reason to blacken the onion is because it gives the broth a nice brown tint that actually doesn't come from the beef.

The guys head on the right the bald one looks like a large (well)

Your vibrating chair got your mind running eh??:rofl::rofl::P

There are tons of websites that show giant flashing banners saying "100th visitor. Click here to claim your prize!" But no one ever clicks them cause you know it's something fake. So apparently, in this joke, the company WAS giving away a car, but the 100th visitor didn't bother clicking the flashing banner.

 okay I get it now....that totally went over my head.

:lol: That was nice of you to explain Nat and you still crack me up KK!

sus can I get a video for the guy that sings

Don't worry be happy

Bobby McFerrin (how sad is that that I know his name?)

I knew it too!! :yes::lol:

Congrats Philly! Now tell me some kitty stories and get your heart!

LMAO - That just reminded me of another story about my drunk friend - She was out on Block Island - our other friend got a panic call from one of the band to come get her - She was in his bed telling him that she had the platinum p***y and she knew he wanted some!

LAWD JEEZUS! Somebody needs to help that lady!:yes::help:

Jawi, I don't know if it's worth it to you but is it possible to book him for an earlier flight for a change fee?? I know American Airlines charges $150 to change your ticket on restricted fares (i.e. the CHEAP seats) but maybe that would be worth it to you if your airline could do that and bring your man home to you sooner!

I wish I had the option...but the airline made sure to give me the disclaimer when I was booking that because it was a credit voucher, I have no options to change it. If we don't use the ticket then...we lose the credit completely. So, I would have to pay for a full ticket if I wanted to change it to an earlier date. So we just have to wait.

Sorry Jawi! That's a bummer! :(

ells..i am american and i don't understand that ish.. that is the craziest thing.. my coworker buys her pets xmas presents, cries if somebody pet dies and everything omg.. i am not a pet lover as u can see..

I'm so not an animal person...pets...nah! My sister gets upset...I love her dog...but I'm A OK without one of my own thanks.

Back to the agruement (hahaha hubby says this when we are debating or him telling me a story), WTH is going on that people feel the need to STEAL freaking plants. Are you serious? What has the world come too? I'm sure if he had just asked...you would've shared a plant with him? Damn it!!!

Okay let some fool try to steal my tomatos , hot peppers, and green pepper. It's WAR!!!!!!!!!!!

:lol: That is so funny cause mister just said that last night while we were discussing WHERE to get married. Yep, still HAVEN'T figured that part out yet....we need to quick since I need to set a date. Right now though I'm thinking 08/08/09. I wanted to do it next weekend cause 7/11 is kinda funny to me but that's not enough time. Anyway, I thought the 'back to the argument' thing was funny too and hadn't heard that before!

8/8 is my oldest son's birthday...that would be a great day.

For real Finesse. I am so NOT a Negril person. I hated every minute of it...well except the Jungle. I hated the live show at the spot on the beach next to BarBBarn...uucckk! All the signs on the road all jumbled together made me think of the Wild Wild West. I couldn't find anything until you walked right up on it. I sort of enjoyed the cliffs though. That was different. But, I will never be a Negril lover...ever. It has a hippie/rasta/lovechild vibe to me.
