im tryna find games for the 4th of july.. i am in a playful mood this year.. usually the holidays are just BLAH.. eat, look at a movie, the kids are bored to death..

so far i have 3 legged race, sack race, egg on a spoon race LOL

and some new ones that i found on one of my children ministry sites..

one is called the cone cup challenge.. u cut the top of a birthday cone hat and tape a styrofoam cup to it.. they fill it up w/ water and do all sorts of physical activity and then measure who has the most at the end COOL....

now if we only had the weather for all these goings on.. we've had 100 degree weather all mnth long UGHHHHHH

You could do the one where you put your forehead on a baseball bat & spin around it so many times & then run to the finish line....that one is always good for some laughs!

Can't quite yet, KK - Just a bad week, lots of drama that I didn't need or expect - Saying prayers that it will end.

On a funny note (well, I got pleasure out of it) - I found out today that my ex's new wife has him on lock down - controls the money, cuts him off, pouts if he doesn't do what she wants, made him cut all ties to his friends - Poetic Justice! What goes around comes around....

Jawi, you and I are a lot alike - I have NO patience when people try to take advantage - We were getting in a cab in Negril one time - typical of my friends, they were just climbing in - I stopped them and asked how much? He told me $30US! To go to the cliffs from almost the roundabout? I replied - First - price me in JA, second, you are way too high - try again or we find a new cab. He muttered some stuff, then gave me the "yuh no tourist" and the right price.

This week I've been going into the office extra early & getting off earlier. I now know that the person who lives above me apparently goes jogging around his/her apartment around this time each day.

Not a big deal cause I'm rarely home this early, but if something changes with my schedule, I'll have to let her know that being on the 2nd level means no jogging around the apartment!
