I am Finesse. I try to stay a happy person...love to make other people smile and laugh. But, I'm so tired. I also feel my friend's hurt and internalize it. I stood in the shower the other day and just cried a gut wrenching cry so my kids couldn't hear me. I slid down the wall and just wailed for over an hour. Now, I can't stop the waterworks. I know God knows how much I can bear...but I'm so unbelievably tired. I'm back in the same pain everyday now...not just from the incision...but deep in the bone and shoulders and arms. I wear my neck brace everyday now.

The doctor just prescribed another strong pain med...Tramadol or real name Ultram ER...which is supposed to be even stronger than Oxycotin but less addictive. The pharmacist said that my insurance won't cover it because it costs $400 for 60 pills...the generic is under $5.00 but my doctor has to actually write the script for the generic. So I have to go back to the doctor for that since it is a narcotic and can't be called in.

Has anyone else tried to use Digicel or EZtop this week? Neither of them is working for the past two days

I had problems on Friday...but it worked early early morning Saturday. Then, A had problems loading the credit for a while on Saturday.

A new grocery store opened around the corner from work today. It's an HEB that is a cross between HEB & Central Market (only Quana knows what I'm talking about, probably). A coworker and I went there during lunch time & got a 100% free meal.

You couldn't take a step without running into more free samples: smoothies, cakes, breads, green chili mac & cheese, chimichuri steak, sushi, tuna salad, chicken salad, chocolate, all cheeses, hummus, dips, chips, various wines, ice cream.... It was worth the traffic jam trying to park for the wonderful free food.

Philly, to reduce the space your signature takes:

Go to "My Controls" at the top & then "Edit signature" on the left. Cut your entire signature then click on "Edit Profile Information." Scroll to the bottom & paste your signature into the "Our story" section. Save changes, then go back to "Edit signature" and remove most of the minor details. That way the info isn't lost... just moved so that a person can see it when clicking your profile instead of your signature.

this episode the dancers were up to win a call to one of thier loved ones.. throughout the show everyone is talking about who they wanna call and why.. rueben is very emotional cuz he wants to call his "partner" who has cancer.. so roger is cheering for reuben cuz he always get 1st place.. then i said...LOOK Reuben have a sugardaddy.. his bf is WAY older than him.. roger said "what are talking about, he's gay" i said yes!!! if u couldn't tell by his mannerisms.. he been saying "parnter all night long" roger say.. Bunz my mom is there and the hospital staff know us by name, my grandmother is just ready to give up and go one...she says she's tired.

I know that tired feeling and I haven't lived half as long or experienced half of what she has. Your grandmother is in my prayers...but I'm ready to give up too. I'm not even excited about A coming. I just want out of this pain any way possible. I have enough pills to end it.

Whooo I don't like how this sounds. I know you’re in pain. Lately I have been experiencing the worst back pain and I'm miserable. Its so hard getting out of bed, driving, walking let alone doing laundry and being a mother of four I have no time to not be mobile. Now I know my pain compares nothing to yours but I'm simply saying life does through some punches your way and then my finances are out of control and the list just goes on and on I’m telling you life is throwing me for a loop right now but as hard as it is I'm trying to keep my head up and even though it hurts you have to too Jawi..

Man I need to stay away form VJ I haven’t even met you and I'm getting emotional typing this because I can someone how feel you. I know your repeatedly saying when will it ever end. Your a mother too so I know it’s hard dealing with this for sooo long but I know there is light at the end of the tunnel. U have only two weeks to go so the clock is ticking. I'm really hoping with A coming that will at least provide you some help at home.

I'm tired of being strong and suffering. The pain is unbearable...then to have people treat you like sh*t because they think I'm faking. I tired of the looks at work....I'm tired of upper management looking at me like I'm a liability and how can they get rid of me. One day I'm okay...but it is far too many days in between when I think how easy it would be to take more than the dosage I'm supposed to. No body understands this pain because you can't see it. You can see the effects of cancer/chemo or MS or something life threatening. Besides me not being able to move like a normal person or turn my head...nobody would know what I am going through. Instead of decreasing medications...I'm getting more. These are the meds that I have on me everyday:

Valium, Percocet, Oxycotin, Gabapentin (nerve pill that I can't stop taking on my own or I can have seizures and can only take at night because it makes me off balance like my equilibrium is off)...and now Ultram ER. Oh wait I forgot Meloxicam too.

My job has messed with my paychecks...now my mortgage is late...my car note is behind...once you get behind it is hard to catch back up...I don't even have money for grocery after I got the kids school uniforms and school supplies. I know it is a test...I know that God is stronger than any problem I'm facing...and I will fight through those feelings...but I just had to get it out. I'm tired of smiling through the pain and bs...I just want to get better. I want to show those aholes at work what I'm made of...that I can wrap circles around the supervisors they decided to keep over me...but my body won't let me.

I can't even retain what I'm re-learning in training class because of the medications. One guy asked me yesterday when was I going to stop wearing my brace and get better. I said "When you loose weight fat ####!" before I could even catch myself. I thought he was a friend...he was even there when my youngest was born. Then, I find out that he was one of the main ones saying that I have been in Jamaica getting married all this time.

My dinner is GOOD!!

I bought a salmon fillet & had it cut into two. I took each half & seasoned it with a rub and with some lemon dill butter (made by melting butter and adding lemon juice & dill weed, then letting it get back to butter consistency). I put it in foil with some basil, sliced onions, and sliced peppers (red, yellow, green). Then I baked the whole thing at 350 until done.

YUM! Nat, stop with the food stories, you're making me VERY hungry!

Jawi, hang in there. I'm sure you're also sick of having people tell you that but it's because we care. I know you need a break & I'm praying that it comes for you pronto! Talk to your creditors & explain your situation so you can make sure they work out a plan with you (I'm probably telling you something you already know). And you have every right to have some $hitty days & to be angry along with it. I'm sure you've heard this too but, it's okay to yell at God. He can take it & maybe it'll help to just scream 'why the hell' ya know? Take care of you the best you can right now....we all want to see you get better. Try to get that anger out & then remember the positive. Positive thinking helps the healing even though at times it can seem dyam near impossible to find something positive in times like this. See if you can get friends or family to help you more with things at home. Be easy on you my friend.
