I don't know why. They kept saying additional processing. There are two things that concern me when I try to come home from Jamaica. First, my line of business. I work for a shipping company, not Like UPS, but our ships assist in the war by carrying supplies and Ive been with them for 22 years! Go figure! Second because I have locs. I always get stopped at customs coming home and the funny thing is my company deals with customs all the time. I feel like Im public enemy #1.

don't feel bad..u and Shemmy in the same boat sort of

It just blows my mind thats all, I can see Jamaica interrogating me, (which they do) but to have the folk in the states do it, then they try to bust it up with me while searching my luggage. I hope they get a good whiff off my dirty undies! lmaoooooooo

Morning Yardies!

Our interview is in Monday. I'm thinking to stay in Montego Bay Thursday night & check with DHL Friday morning (and again Friday afternoon).

Don't bother with staying in Mobay, just call them & you can catch a taxi there to pick up if you need to. I'd even start calling by Wednesday noon because you never know, it might be ready by then.

Thompson2B (or anyone who recently did it), is there a place to pay the $131 close to the embassy?

There is a NCB bank literally right across the street from the Embassy but I'd also make sure and do it at least the day before.

Nat u pay at paymaster..do it before u go to the interview..i've seen them get mad if u don't :)..oo it should across the street fro mthe embassy

paymaster doesn't do it anymore

ncb does it now and they are VERY disgusting

and do not trust what their call center tells you because you will go into the bank and hear a different story

i beleive you need your passport and the jamaican equivalent because they don't accept USD (so disgusting, you can't bring your own, they have to sell it to you  )

I TOTALLY agree about the NCB BS! I was so pissed about the USD equivalent of Jamaican dollars because it actually ends up being MORE than $131. And of course I withdrew my money out of Scotia (I'm a BofA customer so it's free) to get the best exchange rate cause if I'd done it at NCB they were gonna screw me on the rate. I didn't have a problem bringing my own JA in but I had to leave a branch the 1st time to go get my own JA since they weren't offering a good rate. It ended up being closer to about $140 US by the time I had paid because they refused to accept USD. I was livid! I asked the clerk how an 'international' bank could not accept USD....she couldn't answer that. Anyway, just be sure to bring enough JA, the passport, the interview letter & ask if there's anything else to bring before you go so you don't have to go in twice.

Oh, I didn't realize the K1's went through AP sometimes. 22 year with the company??? I didn't think you were that much older than that.

A man who sprayed bullets into a fitness class filled with women, killing three and then himself, apparently kept a Web page in which he wrote about years of rejection by women and an earlier plan for violence at the gym in which he said he "chickened out."

Neighbors described 48-year-old George Sodini as anti-social, and the Web page in his name showcased a resume setting forth his credentials as an unhappy loner. It listed his date of death – Aug. 4, 2009 – and his status of "Never married."

He complained of not having a girlfriend since 1984, not having a date since May 2008 and not having sex for 19 years.

"Women just don't like me. There are 30 million desirable women in the US (my estimate) and I cannot find one," he wrote. The page ended with the words "Death Lives!

WOW what a compliment!!! Thank you.

Yes, they are a family owned business. At one time we were the largest shipping company in the world. I got the job when I was 17 and still in school. I use to go to school half-time and then work. I will be 39 years young in Sept. lol
