I know that the only reason there will be no TV for me when my man comes is because he will be too busy watching football (soccer) he is obsessed! lol Maybe if I dress up in a sexy soccer uniform with the boobies cut out and distract him............lmaooooooooooooooooooo

I already know that Steven is more into movies & cartoons than I am, whereas I'm more into reading (books & internet). I kinda see our style as both of us sitting together with him watching tv and me surfing the internet on my laptop or reading a book.

My 11:00 meeting ended early. I have about 20 min before I need to head to the next meeting, so I'll probably run down and try to find a somewhat healthy lunch in the food court. Is cheese pizza healthy?

Well I must have read it because my God Father has been heavy on my mind, he has been battling cancer for a few years and I just got the call that he passed away.........I am just praising the Creator that he took him from his pain........Baba Peachy I love you and you will be missed

Thanks Bunz I just have a sinking feeling inside because I didn't get to say goodbye .....this is the second time this happened to me and that is the hardest part to deal with.......

Well we nuh cook last night we were tired and he was hot LOL so no left overs fi mi tiddeh but tonight I am having fried fish, dasheen, dumplin, yam and banana. Oh I can't forget the Philly Water Ice LOL I think we are dining in the garden tonight

While you're there, I recommend that you have your guy sign the DS-230... perhaps have him sign 2 copies of it so you can send the signed copies to the embassy in both hard copy & electronic formats.

I haven't used the site but I plan to at least check it out when we go back in a year or so. I figure we'll probably opt to stay at a hotel rather than inna yaad when we return so I'll have to see what kind of deals that site has.

I recommend 4 copies! 2 to keep in case you need to send there & 2 for him to take since they need 2 copies. Always good to have the back up.

Me too, times so tough....thought i'd be long married and supported in my older age by now, instead wading thru this visa process as well as full on work is aging me fast, so much stress, worry, trying to support so many on both sides of the airport, and health issues.......oh Lord, we missed our interview due to my man being hospitalized in Mo Bay (god, i pray for all that enter the Cornwall hospital!)..and TOMORROW..he now gets his second chance. Please note that is 3 months later! Thank you Jah for his health, despite the unknown blood he was given. So, i'm praying with all you for my own dream to become a reality......my case must be one of the longest on history! but Tomorrow, Jah Guide and bring him home! I can't be there this time, no money left no vacation time left...too much responsibility at my job and you know if i don't keep up someone will take it for less money. so i persevere....and he is well prepared, as long as the medical is good (?) and the police record that was expunged is accepted...he's so ready..So, i'm praying long this night and will think of you all and your beautiful stories (that i can barely keep up with but love to know that you are out there...sisters) and i'm so grateful to all that share their lessons and struggles ...and support. As for DJ - I have no news - Not one member of his friggin family answered their phone last night or replied to a vm or a text from me -

Then I called his phone and someone answered - the idiot tried to tell me that he was the medical officer and DJ had told him that he could use the phone and he left him with his - I asked him how the F**K DJ told him he could use his phone when he had a tube in his throat and couldn't speak - and that he had stolen the phone and was using up the credit on it - asked him his name and he hung up on me and then shut the phone off - then no one in his family answered my messages about that either -

I'd be so pissed too! It's probably someone who DJ normally considers a friend who's taking advantage of him right now. We've encountered that with the mister. I found out last time I was there that a friend who I never would've expected was stealing his credit & transferring it to his phone. We even gave that friend another chance & he just did something else that was messed up involving money to keep the current on. That friend is now cut off for good.

That aside, I hope you hear something soon. I can only imagine how you are feeling right now. ((((Sus))))

I have used Cheapcaribbean before - to both JA and Barbados, back when I travelled with my friends - they have some great deals. I even had to cancel a trip, and they were really easy to work with for the refund.
