Yes my sisters....Amen.

Me too, times so tough....thought i'd be long married and supported in my older age by now, instead wading thru this visa process as well as full on work is aging me fast, so much stress, worry, trying to support so many on both sides of the airport, and health issues.......oh Lord, we missed our interview due to my man being hospitalized in Mo Bay (god, i pray for all that enter the Cornwall hospital!)..and TOMORROW..he now gets his second chance. Please note that is 3 months later! Thank you Jah for his health, despite the unknown blood he was given. So, i'm praying with all you for my own dream to become a reality......my case must be one of the longest on history! but Tomorrow, Jah Guide and bring him home! I can't be there this time, no money left no vacation time left...too much responsibility at my job and you know if i don't keep up someone will take it for less money. so i persevere....and he is well prepared, as long as the medical is good (?) and the police record that was expunged is accepted...he's so ready..So, i'm praying long this night and will think of you all and your beautiful stories (that i can barely keep up with but love to know that you are out there...sisters) and i'm so grateful to all that share their lessons and struggles ...and support. Blessings, culture1

Culture you are in my prayers, please update as soon as he gets through! Sending you positive Vibes today

Okay..Let me get your thoughts...

This a theme I'm seeing with my boss. I'm expected to finish my work on time with no help from the other team members. This is even when the other team member have "free" time and I asked for their help. I ask so that I'm not working more than 9 hours a day to finish up work. However, I'm expected to help out the team members when I have "free" or not so busy time. My manager just asked me to help another team member finish up his testing. I know why she asked. He takes way too long to finish stuff. He says it's because he pays attention to detail. Whatever.

So a part of me is like...okay..cool she must think I do a good job...and then another part of me is like...Hey this isn't fair..and I'm going back into the cycle of being the good worker that manager likes to over work. Another part of me..is kinda worried about the co-worker and how is he going to feel when I tell him she wants me to help. I guess I should ask her first, if she told him.

Sorry for my random vent. As you know, VJ is where I can rant on and on..and on...LMBO.

So my question is:

So I have a talk with my manager about the issue? Or just suck it up and be a true team player?

i redid my kitchen in a carribean theme and the fruit basket looks so friggin good in there. i feel like i'm in jamaica when i'm in there.

philly, why the hell did the door i wanted to get for my back hall cost $500? I was like are you serious? $500 for a damn door? I didn't get it...I'll have to do some shopping around. Home ownership is a byatch sometimes....

Preach...Finesse...Preach...

I'm stalking ..yes...stalking Home Depot for this kitchen faucet to go on sale. It's $299. But I love being able to do almost whatever you want. My neighbor put up this thing in her backyard..looks like a clothlines. It's for her dog...she hooks the dog..and it can run up and down on the cord. I'm so surprise the other neighbors haven't called the HOA on her. It's a sore to the eye looking at that thing. It's a townhouse and she doesn't have a fence... I guess it's okay for now.

i do the same thing..

i know i'm getting old when i get excited about new kitchen countertops over a new handbag...

Do ya'll just have one of those days when you feel like the walls are closing in on you and you can't get out? I'm so connected to my grandmother, she raised me and did a great job. I knew something was wrong I haven't been able to each much since Saturday. While I was in the wedding I just kept feeling her, kind of hard to explain...and when my friend's mother was wrecking my nerves I kept hearing my grandmother voice say...no mind ar

:(

If you don't have time to do all of your work and his work, then I suggest asking your manager which is a higher priority for the team: the thing you're working on or the thing he's working on... but don't put it as if it's you vs him; phrase it like you're trying to do what's best for the team.

-Did anyone watch Real and Chance??

-At first I was excited to see it but now I'm not too sure. Seeing the upcoming shows it looks so corny to me. I did watch Dance your A#@ off. The one couple did really well. I think it was the second couple to dance.

-I can't get into Tiny and Toya sorry..

Hey Dada, let me tell you how I am off my DVR game this summer LOL I thought my DVR would pick up Real cand Chance and it didn't I will reprogram and catch the rerun! I still haven't watched the Charm school finale but I know my girl Risky won LOL. I hated Ricki Lake as the Headmaster they need to bring Monique back or let LA LA do it next time. I loved when Ozzy Osbourne's wife was in charge she didn't play!

I have yet to catch this Toya and Tiny every time I go to set the DVR I get distracted. I am gonna run through everything tonight and sort all the shows out! I was watching Dance your @ss off and I fell asleep, who was voted off last night?

GIRLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL The real Housewives of Atlanta looks good this season! OK what was up with that party planner ???? He was serious as a heart attack with his foolnish too. Sheree was playing it cool until he said something about her Momma I was like he is FASSSSSSSSY !!!! Come on now she is your client and you are cussing her out because she wants to give direction for the planning and the party she is in fact paying for! I am glad he is EXPOSED! I wander will we see more from Mr Tangy Party planner? I am done with Nene and the blond wig LMAO she is too much, who is your favorite character?

Lisa is my fave character because she has her own thing going on and doesn't [seem to] start much mess.

tell ur boss to phock off and mine her own business!!

just kidding. honestly, my decision would be based on my feeling for the coworker. if i really liked him, them i would have no problem helping but if i didn't like him and i thought he was a slacker then i would not let my boss know when i have downtime and just say i'm too busy to help him.

You guys are killing me with all the tv talk. Makes me sort of want to watch it all. I have seen a half hour of tv in something like the last month. Just can't still long enough to watch.

Morning all -

Culture, good luck with the interview today, let us know as soon as you hear something.

As for DJ - I have no news - Not one member of his friggin family answered their phone last night or replied to a vm or a text from me -

Then I called his phone and someone answered - the idiot tried to tell me that he was the medical officer and DJ had told him that he could use the phone and he left him with his - I asked him how the F**K DJ told him he could use his phone when he had a tube in his throat and couldn't speak - and that he had stolen the phone and was using up the credit on it - asked him his name and he hung up on me and then shut the phone off - then no one in his family answered my messages about that either -

SUS you and DJ are in my prayers I can't imagine what you are going through not knowing! Stay strong he is going to pull through hold on to your faith! (F)
