Best of luck on the interview tomorrow Culture. I hope your honey stays healthy too and tomorrow will be the start of many blessings coming your way.

Here's to hoping tomorrow is MUCH better for everyone. This surely was a rough Monday, as if they don't already stink. :star:

I'm so sorry Sus! This is really messing with my head right now. I'm not sure if you guys read that part of the story where Ian was diagnosed with a bleeding ulcer. I wrote that almost two weeks ago...and I could see the image as clear as day in my head. I couldn't explain it, and I even went to research if an ulcer could have you loose the kind of blood I saw in my mind. I am crying as I type this...I am really praying for DJ...so much has happened to him in so little time. Sus honey I know you are barely holding on...so much on your shoulders baby. I love you...the burden will ease...just have faith and know that God has you and your husband.

Wait whooaa stop the traffic. Ian has a bleeding ulcer? Since when? There's an update to my story I mean your story? I didnt know this.

Quana your fired you didn't tell me there's an update to Jawi's story.

I haven't posted the rest because I didn't get a lot of interest in it...then I had to go back to work...but yeah there have been some recent updates since your disappearance.

Wait your back to work??? Damn I do need to catch up how the hell did you end up there. I thought you still have six more weeks to go?? Aww damn I hate when I'm cluless but I looked at the time line and see you only have two weeks and two days to go...

Yes my sisters....Amen.

Me too, times so tough....thought i'd be long married and supported in my older age by now, instead wading thru this visa process as well as full on work is aging me fast, so much stress, worry, trying to support so many on both sides of the airport, and health issues.......oh Lord, we missed our interview due to my man being hospitalized in Mo Bay (god, i pray for all that enter the Cornwall hospital!)..and TOMORROW..he now gets his second chance. Please note that is 3 months later! Thank you Jah for his health, despite the unknown blood he was given. So, i'm praying with all you for my own dream to become a reality......my case must be one of the longest on history! but Tomorrow, Jah Guide and bring him home! I can't be there this time, no money left no vacation time left...too much responsibility at my job and you know if i don't keep up someone will take it for less money. so i persevere....and he is well prepared, as long as the medical is good (?) and the police record that was expunged is accepted...he's so ready..So, i'm praying long this night and will think of you all and your beautiful stories (that i can barely keep up with but love to know that you are out there...sisters) and i'm so grateful to all that share their lessons and struggles ...and support. Blessings, culture1

-Did anyone watch Real and Chance??

-At first I was excited to see it but now I'm not too sure. Seeing the upcoming shows it looks so corny to me. I did watch Dance your A#@ off. The one couple did really well. I think it was the second couple to dance.

-I can't get into Tiny and Toya sorry..

echo that

My2, that sucks. The same thing happened to my aunt. She got her passport in time to come with me on one of my trips to Ja, but couldn't get the time off from work. But I guess it's better that they deny you for a "regular" visit instead of for the interview visit. I've made sure my bosses know that I'm going through this process mainly so that they'll realize how important it is for me to be able to attend the interview, no matter what is going on at work.

DaDa, I didn't see the show. Mondays, I usually don't even turn on the TV. Spent tonight on the phone & reading books & stuff online (like that one thread where NotMrs told her story and the thread went in a different direction).

Today has flown by for me! It's not close to over yet... still have over 1.5 hrs.

But I've been plugging away at work. That's probably cause I haven't been on here as often since I don't want to catch the Bad News Bug that's going around.

Steven checked the post office today, just for kicks: he still hasn't received the packet 3 that the embassy mailed 2 weeks ago.

I called the Dept of State. The embassy in Kingston still hasn't processed the DS230 that Steven mailed almost 2 weeks ago, nor the signed & scanned one I emailed them last Wednesday. ::sigh:: One day.

Aww, it will come... I sent the congressman an email... So now I play the waiting game....if he even responds
